Originally built in 1554, the landmark structure now houses the hotel’s expansive 21 suites, most of which include unobstructed views of the magnificent Grand Harbour and surrounding marina. The suites in this suites-only property span between 40 and 140 square meters, all offering a king-size bed and a shower apart from the 130-square-meter Macina Grand Harbour Suite, which offers a king-size bed and a bathtub. The suite also comprises a living room, a dining table, and a second bedroom. The Grand Harbour Suites, some of which are split on a duplex level, span between 40 and 80 square meters and offer partial views of the harbour, whilst the 40-to-70-square-meter Corner Suite Harbour View boasts a position that affords a full harbor view. The duplex Senglea Suites and the Presidential Suite—at up to 120 and 140 square meters respectively—both feature a terrace, whilst the latter also boasts a kitchenette and two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen-size bed.
This hotel is incredible and pure luxury, from the rooms, to the pool, to the people who run this hotel, everything is just truly amazing. A big shoutout to Marc Perez who helped organise mine and my fiancée’s engagement, he made the day espically incredible and I couldn’t of done it without him and his amazing professionalism and organisation. Thank you Marc & everyone at the Cugó Gran Macina!

Boutique accommodation born of the owners' love of Malta and passion for art. The Snop House occupies a classic Maltese building, beautifully renovated and modernized yet retaining its character and soul. Each part of the house is a creation deemed to captivate the imagination and the curiosity of the guests to one or more of the multifaceted features of Malta. A single stay will not allow the guests to discover all the secrets of The Snop House!
The Snop House. A different hotel experience than all others. Personal reception and guidance through the hotel. Personal service at breakfast. Personal is very friendly and helpful. Chambers are traditional but modern executed with nice art in every room. A Nice roof terrace gives a fabulous view over Senglea and some talks with other guests. Recommended to go there.

Personale alla mano e disponibile per qualunque informazione, prezzo più che economico per la location... Buona zona per i vari spostamenti sia con autobus, sia con taxi... In un futuro ritorno a Malta sappiamo già dove alloggiare sicuramente.

Tolle Unterkunft!

We have recently spent three nights at the Sirena Suites, a tastefully decorated townhouse in Senglea, close to the iconic Gardjola Garden. My husband and I were accommodated in the Ta’ Sofia penthouse and other members of our family stayed in the Ta’ Miguel suite. Being summer, we appreciated that all suites were airconditioned and there are also several ceiling fans in the house. There are free WIFI, washing machine, tumble dryer and kitchen facilities in the property as well as mini hairdryers in the suites. The place is exquisite, clean, charming, airy, bright and full of paintings by one of the owners. The clever interior designing and furnishing are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The view from the seaward areas of the house is truly exceptional, with the historic Fort St Angelo just across the creek less than 400 metres away, the capital city Valletta and the entrance of the Grand Harbour to the left, and the yacht marina to the right. Sitting in a balcony or at the terrace at any time of the day but especially sunrise or sunset is a very relaxing experience. History is seen and felt everywhere in the surroundings, this area having been in the forefront of land and sea battles in the Great Siege of Malta in 1565, and air battles during the Second World War. It is a pleasure to stroll along the narrow streets of Senglea in the morning or the promenade to Birgu in the evening. A ferry station, with boats frequently departing to and arriving from the capital city Valletta across the harbour, is a few minutes walk from the house. There are also several good restaurants, mini markets and amenities close by. Carolina and Carlo are simply the perfect hosts, with a friendly disposition and always willing to advise and help their guests with all their needs, including by giving information about interesting activities and events that are available both in the vicinity as well as further afield in Malta and Gozo. In all respects, it has been a very good decision by us, to choose to stay at the Sirena Suites.
