So disappointing
Reviewed By mcv83When we arrived we got charmed by the buildings, the park, the fountains, the atmosphere. Then we got our keys and the magic disappeared... The junior suite (room 502) was big and nice but there was such a bad smell.... Honestly it smelled like feet.... So we opened all the windows to try to get some fresh air.... But the worst part was the bed ! Can't figure out how old the mattress can be to be such a mess ! Bumps everywhere and the strange feeling to sleep in an old partially deflated water bed... Hopefully the breakfast was ok and you have plenty of space to safely park the car... But for 137 euros and a 4 stars hotel the least you could expect is to be allowed to sleep (I forgot to mention that you can hear really well several trains running during the nights...). So disappointing....

Could not have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable
Reviewed By paulinehogg8Due to the late arrival of our flight, we arrived here at 11:45pm and Jose was waiting for us and took time to explain all we needed to know about car parking on site, our rooms, breakfast (which he left out for us as we were out early every morning) and he could not have been kinder. The rooms are not over-fussy but have everything we could need including toiletries and fresh towels every day. Jose did not speak much English but uses the app on his phone to ensure every conversation is fully understood. On our final day, he offered to let us keep the rooms until mid-afternoon so we had time to return from our morning activity and shower if we wanted. If we return to this area, we would definitely stay here again

A return visit but disappointed
Reviewed By JohnCracknellThis was a return visit to the Casa Palacio, Santa Cruz de Mudela since before Covid travel restrictions. Obviously the building is very old which is important in its attraction. However it did look tired with some problems with doors. On arrival at about 2pm the hotel was locked and not manned. We had to phone and was given the front door code. Our room was unlocked with key inside. Later in the day the hotel was manned for a short while but not evening or overnight. The owner arrived about 0900 the next day as we were leaving. The main problem was we were not aware they no longer did breakfast or evening meal. Mudela is a ‘one horse town’ with apparently no restaurants.( our evening meal was a snack in a cafe) so disappointed

We have 43 rooms with configaracion of doubles, triples and quadruples, pets are allowed free, wifi, aa and tv in all rooms. Reception 24 hrs. Bar 24 hrs. Restaurant and souvenir shop. Free parking.
Overnight stay
Reviewed By JeffR605A change for us booking an overnight stop at what you would term motorway services we also booked dinner and breakfast as well. Obviously parking isn’t an issue and it’s free as well. After checking we were shown to our room which are in a block away from the bar and restaurant, there was also a gym here as well. The rooms were very clean and functional but not massively spacious and had aircon in the bedroom. Dinner and breakfast were both very good and the staff friendly although a little Spanish helps. Give it a try... very reasonably priced...

Reviewed By juancarlosm143Hotel a pie de autovía lo que es un problema, la habitación es sencilla y muy limpia, esta ubicado en un área de servicio el check in se hace en la gasolinera de forma muy rápida ,te dan la tarjeta para entrar y salir, no cuenta con recepción propia. cuenta con un restaurante 24 horas que esta enfrente del hotel, 50 metros. El único inconveniente es que el ruido de la autovía es bastante molesto, es una lastima por que la atención del personal es muy buena y la habitación para hacer un alto en el que camino sin desviarte esta bien
