Disappointing
Reviewed By Go28829484920On arrival we were moved to a room on the ground floor (apparently because we had a dog). The room was right next to reception, therefore we heard every person going in and out of reception through the night and early morning, due to the slamming door. The room was not the cleanest with hair in the shower and the toilet smelled very strongly of wee. The floor had obviously not been cleaned. There was no space to eat breakfast with a dog but we were told on arrival we could sit in the chairs at reception. However, the next mornings receptionist who was busy smoking in a back room of a non smoking building, was initially not happy about this. Whilst eating breakfast in the reception seats, we were very cold as the door through the kitchen (directly opposite us) was left open whilst the staff continued to smoke. During this time, the breakfast bar was depleting with still an hour and a half to go and everyone outside was completely unaware. Overall not the best experience we’ve had with ibis budget.

Reviewed By rozigThe hotel is located outside the town. There are several restaurants nearby, which are ok if you are only staying a night or maybe 2. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was basic but there was plenty, as it was continually replenished.

Our hotel is situated in an industrial park for small businesses, in 5 km of the city center, very easy of accés since A714 by the exit(release) 36. Your First class hotel places you in 5 km of the Exhibition center, in 10 min by car of the Center of the congresses Athanor, and in 2 min by car of the Park Aqualudique (Swimming pool, Sauna, Hammam). Montluçon is situated in full Central France, and is the starting point of numerous excursions nearby. Amusement park the Pale at 1:30 am, Vulcania at 1:30 am as well as chain(channel) of Volcanic hills (Puy de Dôme). Reviewed By Patricia DLe repas était très bon ! Par contre la chambre sentait le renfermé et les abords de la "maison bleue" sont un peu laissés à l'abandon. Cela ne nous a pas déranger mais plutôt surpris. Le personnel est très sympathique et le petit déjeuner royal !
