Reviewed By Rockbob1Very close to many snowmobile trails. Inexpensive if you want an early start. Italian restaurant is within walking distance. Fills up fast during the season, limited parking for trailers. Easy on off of route 81.

The Port Lodge is on eleven acres with a large deck and pool area nestled behind the main lodge, barbeque pits, picnic tables, a child's play area, and horseshoe pits for our guests relaxation. Coffee maker and a microwave are available in the lobby, and free freezer space for your catch. An oversized parking lot provides room for boats, snowmobiles, trailers, and any other sport or travel related vehicles

Reviewed By PhyllisM545Stayed here a couple times Rooms were not clean. We were made to feel like we imposed, plus charged us for 3 night instead of 2 and when I called they said to call back in a week so I did and now they won't answer the phones really unprofessional

Reviewed By MilissaH_13Sooo awful, dirty out dated. Smelly, I had my mom with me and we got to the hotel and not with in 5 minutes we started getting sinus issues. They don’t seem to be clean at all. Would never recommend. :(

Beautiful Grounds, Great Restaurant

At the time, the owners had a great restaurant & were planning on updating the cabins, so we saw a lot of potential. The room/cabin we had was just on the lake & a short walk from the restaurant. View was amazing but the room with King bed was not as updated or as nice as some of the other rooms. Bathroom was very tiny & cramped. Before we left, we were able to see some of the other rooms. Cabins with kitchen were very nice & for a longer stay we will book them. Other cabins with queen had larger bathrooms & much more updated. We were told the old room we had years ago was now the best of the rooms but was booked so we couldn't see it. Many positives to this place. Privacy, parking, views, fishing right on the lake (no steps to get down to the lakeshore at this time), restaurant. Room rates were very reasonable. The negative is that it is so far off the main area (which we liked) but inconvenient if you need something. Restaurant was only open for dinner while we were there, so not having a cabin with kitchen meant driving several miles for breakfast or lunch. All in all if you plan right, this is an amazing place for a long weekend or week long stay. Food in the restaurant was amazing and staff were cordial, helpful.
