Reviewed By Sharon197250My family and I stayed at this hotel in May for my 50th Birthday, it wasn't the first time at the hotel and won't be our last. From the minute you arrive you know your in for a real treat. Fran Marta and Miguel are still there welcoming us all and taking care of our every need. They truly make this great hotel even better. The cleanliness of the entire hotel and pool area is outstanding, the drinks and food are of 5 star quality, best hotel we have ever stayed in. I'm such a fussy traveller but this place ticks all of the boxes, if you want a chic classy hotel with amazing friendly staff producing 5 star treatment and a relaxing vibe, this is for you! See you all again in July!!!

Reviewed By DoylestownTFirst and foremost Iberostar Portal Nous is an exceptional property. Complicated to weigh the advantages and considerations when other properties are available. Situated in the chic area, Iberostar has built on the "Grand" brand. This resort is comparable to the 5 stars to include Branson's new property and even Belmond Deia. Secrets Mallorca in our estimation does not offer the same exclusiveness. This is breakfast only inclusive. If you enjoy looking at the bay while you sip your first beverage of the day this is the place. The rooms are well appointed with high end bedding and sheets. (Sheets and bedding are our hallmark of a truly superior room) The room top pool is famous to all. Around the corner is a cozy small plate & bar. Otherwise you go the main street, a small hike up a hill or by taxi. You can expect $50 USD per dinner at a variety of places nearby. Taxi downtown Palma run $20 Euros while a bus is $5 Euro per person. The best feature is having the cove for swimming and palm thatched umbrellas for rent. This is a crazy busy beach. Keep in mind the playtime months are June to August for Europe and the weather, so expect the crowds everywhere. Normally we stay at all inclusive as the owners of an agency however this was a better quality food and beverage as one would expect from a la carte service. Juan the head waiter and europe trained butler was the highlight of each day. The reception upstairs with special mention of Pepi served and helped in each and every request. If you looking for open beaches more activities food nearby perhaps Palma Playa is your place. If it is a dress to impress literally among the best of the best then this is the place with all venues nearby. The marina host the top food spots on the island and moors the largest yachts (100 ft+) ever seen. Playground for the rich and famous. Much of northern africa no longer draws the crowds from all of europe and England. So Ibiza and Mallorca are the hot spots for the summer rush. Doylestown Travel USA/ Apple Vacations Partner researched much of the trip on the island so feel to contact them for further questions. In the future I would suggest staying here for 4 days/ 5 days max and then experience another hotel on the island time permitting The Iberostar Portal Nous will not disappoint most couples and ideal for special occasions honeymoons romantic getaway couples with high expectations.

Completely refurbished in 2016, the 4-star Tacande Portals 4* Wellness & Relax is located in Bendinat (Calvià), a district belonging to the wonderful island of Mallorca. Located just 150m away from the beautiful beach of Portals and 15 minutes drive from the capital of the island "Palma de Mallorca". Its proximity to more than 8 golf courses (less than 19km from the hotel) and different cycling routes makes the RD MAR DE PORTALS hotel in an ideal place to enjoy the practice of golf and cycling. The hotel is characterized by its careful and varied gastronomic offer and its concept of design that is transmitted through its modern decoration, facilities and spaces enabled for different environments, transmitting to its customers a fresh and unbridled concept.

Reviewed By geordiebobNewcastleReally enjoyed the stay at Tocande breakfast was smashing and lots of choice, food on evening was okay too There’s a couple of houses being built opposite though there wasn’t a lot of noise while we were there Clean and efficient, staff were in the main friendly and helpful only downside is that parking is on street only and my hire car got scratched by a builders lorry Will definitely return

The traditional-style Marina Portals offers stunning Mediterranean Sea views just 7 minutes' walk from the beach. All the spacious rooms in Marina Portals have a private balcony and free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned, kettle and satellite TV. Many of the rooms have sea views. It has a Spa. Guests have free access to the spa, which has a water circuit, sauna and steam bath, as well as chromotherapy and other relaxation and beauty treatments. Marina Portals also has a large pool, sun terrace with loungers. The hotel offers a breakfast and dinner buffet service. The hotel's snack bar has a terrace, and the Coral Bar offers a range of drinks.
Lovely hotel
Reviewed By crocodillioStayed here with children at the start of half term. Was expecting it to be busy and noisy, but it wasn’t at all. The room was spotlessly clean (as was the hotel) and had everything we needed - bath with shower, decent storage, fridge, large terrace/balcony. The beds were comfy. Air con worked well. TV had CBBC which went down well with the kids. We were low down (second floor) so didn’t have a pool/sea view, but the view was still lovely. We were on a B&B rate. The breakfast was amazing, with different choices of food every day. Lots of choice of hot and cold food. Really nice fruit selection. Freshly made bread and pastries. Omelettes etc on request. Dining room was very big and never full. Lovely views too and could sit on the terrace overlooking the pool. The hotel is in a great location - some lovely restaurants across the road. But it’s a very quiet/peaceful area. Less than 10 minutes walk to a lovely beach and also the marina (where there were more restaurants and bars etc). Bus stop 2 minutes away where you can get the bus to Palma. Nice journey along the coast and past the port. More bus services from the stop by marineland (10 min walk) which go to Palmanova and also to airport. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel grounds are lovely. Amazing pool - not heated, but temperature was fine for swimming in May. There is also a kids splash pool. And an indoor pool and spa, which we didn’t visit (the weather was too nice to be indoors!). Nice play area, table tennis and mini golf (could do with painting, but was functional and fun). Plenty of nice sun loungers and shade. There is a pool bar and also a separate dining area - nice sandwiches and very reasonable prices for hotel food/drinks. There is a handy gate at the end of the garden, great for walking down to marina area. Overall a lovely stay, we will be returning!

Great Food
Reviewed By qweasd4Room is well furnished and very clean. Both restaurants have great food and friendly staff. The pool is very good with areas for both adults and children. A couple of negatives. 1. the pool lounger areas are all grass and inevitably this take some wear and tear. To give the grass recovery time some areas were cordoned off during our 12 day stay. This could be a problem in busy times as shade is limited. 2. Smoking is allowed only at the main entrances and on the room terraces. If you room is next to a smoker then your terrace and room will get the smoke as well. Smoking is not allowed around the pool but isn't enforced.
