As a Diamond member, I prefer to stay at Hilton hotels because I receive a lot of little perks. Therefore, when I had a few days to actually take a mini-vacation, I stayed at a Hilton property. This place is nice and the rooms are exactly as you would expect for the gulf coast. The difference is the staff. Extremely accommodating and friendly! Jim, at the front desk, was hilarious and provided us good service! Restaurant is okay, but don’t expect amazing food. (Maybe supply chain?). They try hard, which, for me, matters. Overall, great value. One of the better Hilton properties, from a service perspective (I spend 100+ nights in a Hilton hotel a year, so that is a big deal deal statement).

DO NOT STAY

I know many people read reviews and think that people that leave them are just bitter. I have never left a negative review for any location I have stayed, but will shout to the rooftops for this one. I am an IHG gold member so usually always book their properties. However, due to a short stay and the location of the property I booked here. Will never do that again. Was in the room for a total of about an hour and when trying to get a refund I was given a credit to stay at the property again! There were blue sheets on the bed with sticks and dirt in them, mold in the bathroom. And disgusting looking substances when moving anything. The room smelled awful and only took me about 5 minutes to realize how nasty it was. I am not a complainer and usually never do this but I am asking anyone reading this review if you are wanting to stay here because it’s cheap and you’d like to save a little money. DONT DO IT! I never expect any place to be perfect but a quick glance around these rooms and you will see that the main party of the floor is probably swept or vacuumed and everything else is left dirty.

Horrible Customer Service and No Wifi

Reviewed By Aly B

We were booked to stay there for one week. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay there even one night. We were planning to work from the resort, but upon arriving at the property and checking in, we immediately noticed there was no working wifi in our room. We asked them to fix it and the front desk man came and confirmed we were correct, but unfortunately there was nothing they could do then. Since we had to work from home and needed wifi, we immediately checked out and had to spend WAYYY more money last minute to get a hotel that wasn't as nice but did have wifi. We didn't stay even a single night (we stayed maybe 30 mins trying to figure out the wifi and didn't even use the bathroom or touch the bed) yet they refused to refund us for this. Since it was late, the manager wasn't in so the front desk told us to call in the morning about a refund. We figured this was reasonable and left. Yet, the manager refused to even speak with us today despite our repeated calls, which we think is very rude. I get they couldn't book the place the night we didn't stay since it was late but we couldn't stay and work without the wifi they advertised, and honestly its just rude for a manager to refuse to speak to us even though the front desk people were nice. Currently disputing the charge, and do feel bad they couldn't book the place, but more annoyed that they are acting rude about it. We didn't want to drive another 45 minutes last night to stay at a motel not on the beach and pay more for less last minute but we didn't have a choice. I get that wifi isn't essential to all, but it is for my job, and if it is for yours I wouldn't stay here.

Dated but nice beach location

Reviewed By StacyB1682

If I were returning to this area, I wouldn't mind staying at this place; it was a nice location to the beach. The place was dated but pretty clean. The North Redington Beach area was kind of tired and touristy, meaning that there really wasn't a great restaurant or bar that we loved. It wasn't really walkable. There wasn't any entertainment that we found. The workers at the resort were very friendly.

Unit 604

The view of the water is it"s best feature. Unit is not kept up. Arrived to unit and can't open bedroom window. Patio door jams and difficult to open and close. Ice maker in freezer doesn't work. Took 3 days to get a replacement light bulb for lamp. Sandy beach toys left in clothes dresser drawers. Without water one day. Other occupants said same thing happened last week. Had to carry garbage pails with pool water up to room to flush the toilets. No compensation for inconvenience offered to us. Wouldn't stay here again.
