Exellent service returning a lost item
Reviewed By cindypS2577NHMy son stayed with this hotel with his sports team. He wears a cross necklace that is inexpensive but is extremely meaningful to him. He takes it off at night and leaves it on the nightstand. The morning he checked out of the hotel, he forgot to pick up the necklace. He was devastated that he might have lost the necklace. He called the hotel and they mailed it to our home via FedEx overnight without asking us for any payment for the mailing. Thank you to the housekeeping staff for turning in the necklace and to the staff who mailed him the necklace.

Worst Marriott experience in my years of traveling
Reviewed By formeryogiI've traveled enough over the years to know things will not be "perfect" all of the time. When you're on the road, you're going to end up in a room that's not up to snuff at some point. Most of the time, these are rare and not necessarily a reflection of the entire property or management. BUT after spending more than three months at this TownPlace Suites, I can say I have never found so many problems and a total disregard of lack of maintenance and attention to details. For one two week period, I was missing four lightbulbs in the room AND the bathroom faucet bolt was broken and was sliding on the vanity. Despite repeated requests, the issues were never addressed. I even volunteered to replace the lightbulbs myself if they would just give me the bulbs (the desk couldn't find any!). The furniture should have been thrown out years ago. I had rooms with kid cereal all over the floor and bathroom ceilings beginning to fall in. Window sill casings were falling (several rooms). I can understand how housekeeping can miss a spot... but ceilings falling in, thermostats coming off the wall and multiple missing lightbulbs simply means nobody is paying attention. And don't get me started about the constant smell of marijuana coming through the bathroom vents from other rooms. Because I was in town for a long term assignment, I really needed some kind of kitchen facilities with refrigerator, microwaves, plates, etc... but a few weeks when I was in town for just a few days, I stayed next door at the Springhill Suites and that was the Ritz compared to this place. I refused to put new employees in this unit and sent them to other brands near the end of my stay. Over and over again, I was promised things would be fixed and I would receive some bonus Bonvoy points for my inconvenience (but I've yet to seem them in my account). This property is not up to brand standards and I can't believe Marriott has not yanked the affiliation. Workout equipment remained out of condition for weeks at a time and the pool was never open. I was there most weeks from October until January The one positive was the breakfast lady Cindy.

Greatly disappointed
Reviewed By 105HS36We booked adjoining rooms confirmed with the reservation. We showed up at the hotel the person working at the front desk couldn’t even log in to the computer to check us in. Had to call a different property to do it. The. Proceed to tell me they don't have any adjoining rooms as well they don't have a crib that we requested for out 2 year old. My wife sat at the front desk for 2 hours while they ignored her and dealt with other ambassador guests. The next shift came and was extremely rude couldn’t log in as well to the system. No one slept at night because the baby was all over the place. And they didn’t care they said reservations always lies. Will not be staying there again needless to say. Oh and the whirlpool was cold and the pool was ice cold. Couldn’t even enjoy that!!!

Reviewed By Lakecomo16We stopped after 10 hours driving, the staff was friendly, the room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel is very quiet and I especially enjoyed the outside views. One thing I was disappointed with the ice machine it was broken and I had to go to 2 other floors to get my ice..The breakfast was good but not overly impressive.

Reviewed By Joyce AThe gentleman at the front desk when I arrived was very cheerful and welcoming. He gave me two keys so I could look at two rooms and pick the one I preferred, and he was very patient with me when I messed up the credit card machine on my first try due to being tired from a long day of driving. Sure, the place could use a little renovating, but all I ever really need from a budget hotel is for it to be clean and have a good lock on the door, and that was the case here. The continental breakfast normally offered by Choice Hotels was suspended due to COVID-19, but that's no fault of the individual properties. Good value for the money.
