A great find
Reviewed By lucycH4943ELAfter the original accommodation I booked in Umbria not being what we expected we needed a place to stay last minute. Elisabetta was incredibly helpful and welcoming from the first moment we spoke to her on the phone, and continued to be so throughout our 4 night stay, she had lots of suggestions about places to visit, restaurants and we also got a discount for the Marmore waterfalls nearby. The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything we needed, she even gave us one with a terrace as we had our dog with us. Opposite the apartment there’s a small supermarket, pizzeria and bar which was really handy, and the small town of Arrone is a short walk away, which is worth a visit. The location is ideal for visiting different parts of Umbria, and was a great base. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay with the intention of exploring the area

Top of the Mountain
Reviewed By Drennan14We had a fabulous stay here whilst attending a wedding at D'Abruzzo St Pietro in Valle. Very remote on the top of a mountain but great food at dinner on one night we ate there and Manager Maurizio could not have done more to help with arranging transport to the wedding venue, providing late lunch when we arrived and arranging coffee and drinks pool side. He was a fantastic host.

Pleasant experience
Reviewed By Sven MWe enjoyed our two nights at the convent. Vanessa, the manager is caring and nothing is too much trouble for her even though she is busy doing multiple roles. She enjoys practicing her English with visitors. The breakfast room is “divine” It is the nuns’old dining room. Each room leads onto a sunny terrace with incredible views. It is just a short drive to town for restaurants.

Rocca Ranne is a 3-star hotel situated in the ancient fortifications that arise in the highest part of Montefranco, pretty medieval village surrounded by nature, in the heart of Valnerina. The country and the hotel, recently renovated respecting the original style, enjoy a privileged location: a real terrace overlooking the valley and the Marmore Falls. The property offers many types of rooms, all renovated, tastefully furnished and equipped with all comforts. The rooms are spacious, bright, and offer magnificent views over the village and broad views of the surrounding mountains and the Valnerina. The hotel has a restaurant specializing in regional cuisine, and in the terrace guests can have breakfast (included in the room price) and other meals.

Reviewed By NobulltravelsI booked 5 rooms for different members of my family as we were in Umbria to celebrate my son’s wedding. Staff at the hotel gave us rooms that were all close together and were extremely helpful in providing various touches such as cutlery and crockery for the family room. Views from all the rooms were spectacular and the location was everything we could have wished for. We hope to return again at some time and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to others

Good value in an interesting location
Reviewed By nickyportugalBased in a modernised convent we had a good sized room with good bathroom. Nice balcony with good view. It was value for money but the beds were very hard and the breakfast wasnt very good with limited choice. The WiFi was poor.
