On our bycicle trip somebody told us about this B&B, so we decided to give it a try. Hoping for an available room (we didn't book upfront) we arrived with our bycicles and asked for a room. The host doesn't speak much English (and we don't really master Italian) - but the welcome was extremely warm. Although communication wasn't easy to start - we soon got a room - which looked more like a complete appartment. Later it became clear the daughter speaks English much better ànd the host also speaks some French. A fully equiped kitchen is available for the guests - with a fridge filled with drinks (not free of course). That day we didn't stop to buy food for the evening but the host offered to prepare a simple dinner for a small extra fee. We enjoyed the dinner she cooked, full of fresh ingredients. Breakfast was simple but good Thanks to it's location the views on the mountains south of the B&B are lovely - but this also means you have to put some effort to get there - especially when riding a bike. And they even have a swimming pool and a sauna. The swimming pool is not really big (estimation about 10x5 m) but just large enough. The sauna was not in use, some other material was stored temporary, but I'm sure they would have prepared it for use if we would have asked for it. Free wifi is available, but as they have volume restrictions the owners ask not to use it for images or video. It was a splendid experience !

Place in the tranquility and greenery, where guests can enjoy extensive views of nature while enjoying traditional dishes and creative possibilities of staying in rooms pleasant, cheerful and welcoming, now extended in the new residence.
We stopped in this town driving from Croatia to Austria, and went into Locanda San Gallo for a mid-morning snack. The garden in front of the building is lovely, with great views of the mountains. The service was very friendly, with a family atmosphere. We were served local cheese and proscuitto with bread, and then the woman brought us a bowl of marinated zucchini "from the garden." All delicious!

Hotel restaurant bar Leon Bianco lies right in the centre of the town. The hotel is currently run by the family and everybody tries its outmost to fullfil at best the customers needs. The Hotel features 10 guestrooms w/bath, telephone, television, hairdryer and 10 guestrooms without bath (each of these rooms have sink with mirror while the bathrooom is in common with the other rooms). Each floor can be reached by elevator.Everyone is welcome at our hotel, families, single individuals, groups and contractors who temporarily work in the area. Discounts may apply for large groups, we also offer special rates for contractors by written request. The Hotel offers half board, full board, overnight stay and breakfast. The hotel has a reputation of a meeting point for everybody in town and also for tourists who would like to spend a few hours tasting some of our specials or simply to have a conversation with the local people. They can also relax by the fireplace “fogolar” and taste a good glass of wine, maybe from the Collio region.
Difficult to express a feed back of this "hotel" without being offensive. Rooms (at least mine) was furnished by a sort of collecting modern art (the poorest one). Bed is in the average, just not fitting good for person taller than 1,80 (in any case this is not a problem for owners) Bathroom is ridiculous, shower runs in the w.c. and spills all over your ovenight-make up case, so a suggestion for next guests: before to have a shower put on the bed at least the toilet paper if not you can forget to use toilet for other usage. Sound proof worth a noisy camping, so by yor room you can hear not only everything happens in the neighbour's room (for neighbours, i mean all the rooms of the floor), but also the screams coming from the kitchen located in the basement of the hotel (and in this case better not to understand the Language used by owners and personnel). Screams from the kitchen starts normally around 8:30 a.m. Useless to say WIFI exists and it's for free, but it doesn't work. This linked to a lack of signal of mobile net (but this is not an Hotel fault), make you come back to that "good times" without mobile telephone and pc. During weekend (Sunday) the square in front of the hotel is often closed to traffic (good thing), but the hotel set out speakers for music and the volume can be good for a rave party, but not for a "smiling" mountain city (this happens starting from the first afternoon). Positive sides: few, but at least i can't say the room was dirty, so cleanliness is in the average of other hotels (of the same category...) Food is tasty, but there's not such a choiche, the chef "suggests" 2 or 3 good dishes of the day and that's it, so i won't call it a "restaurant", but a good family restaurant (sometime going to my uncle i have a wider choice). To end my not particularly excellent experience, the lack of receipt and the disgust to accept electronic payment (credit cards or similar), even if they have, but then there's not the 10% discount. I can guess why, but at least, if you don't want to pay taxes, offer a discount to the customer to share the advantage of a black payment (and in Italy this advantage, considering direct taxes and vat is at least a 60% to be shared between the hotel and the customer). BTW the fact they didn't register me as guest could be an advantage or a plus for good looking persons without regular documents I think - and i hope - there're better hotels in the surroundings, but after this experience i let other person to check it.

Pictures looked fine, but in the end small rooms, mostly single beds, it was a Gas Station with rooms. The glass for my wine was all oily and the wine itself had some flakes in it, it was so gross. It would be great for truckers, but from the pictures we didn't think it was the way it was ... Bathrooms were very clean at least, but only a z fold door that didn't really close fully or quietly if you needed to go to the bathroom at night.
