Quiet and relaxing stay
Reviewed By Danalein97I had a nice and quiet stay at the guesthouse Maria Mar. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the nature and beaches around. The guesthouse is small and therefore there is not a lot of noise. They owner Ana and Daniel also offer surf lessons which was an incredible experience! If you’re not into so much action you can take the bike to see the rice fields or watch the sunset at the beach. Thank you so much for this stay!

Nômade - Auberge Rurale is a hideaway for people loving comfort, but for whom silence and nature are pure luxury. The endless sandy beaches of Portugals West Coast are only 8 km away. For those, who find the Atlantic to fresh, can take a swim in our natural swimming pool or just chill out in the hammock on the private terrace of their apartment. We serve a rich breakfast, with fresh fruits, free range eggs, cheese from the region and home made jams. Wine lovers find in our bodega a choice of 50 Portuguese wines. Twice a week we offer our Nômade Dinner, tastes from all over the planet composed to a 4-course-menu. Nômade - Auberge Rurale was designed and built between 2013 and 2015. Our purpose was to do it in a sustainable and natural way: The apartments are built of straw, clay and lime (by the way: one of the first straw hotels of Europe) and hot water is produced by solar power. Also the pool is natural, no chlorine, but aquatic plants oxygenate the water and maintain the balance.
Excellent for a few relaxing days
Reviewed By Ana CI stayed for a week with my family here. The apartment is very comfortable, the property is really nice and the breakfast is excellent! Lots of fruits, delicious homemade hummus, several types of cheese, yoghurts, meats (which we didn’t eat but it was there), egg, etc. really good one. The owners are also very nice and welcoming! Very nice for a few relaxing days in the southern portuguese countryside and at the same time not far from the beach.

Reviewed By Anto8825Siamo tornati dopo due anni ed abbiamo ritrovato tutto come allora. La struttura è sempre ben tenuta, ordinata e curata, sembra ancora tutto nuovo. Le camere molto graziose, la nostra, vista piscina con due letti singoli, frigorifero, tv e stoviglie da utilizzare nella cucina all'aperto. Carino anche il bagno. Impeccabile pulizia ovunque. Piscina con lettini ed ombrelloni. La signora che gestisce è cordiale e disponibile. A pochi metri bar/ristorante e mini mercato, a circa 750 metri la meravigliosa ed immensa spiaggia.
