A trek to the nearby mountain is just the start. There are jungle tracks to be explored on cycles and picnics to be had on the banks of the Palpala. For bird and orchid enthusiasts, the neighborhood forest is heaven. Star-gazing from the resort is a treat and a tribal dance performance by the bonfire rounds off your day.
Those who want a digital detox for couple of days and connecting with the family only, this is ideal for them. This property located 3 kms from the forest entry gate deep in the jungle beside a river. Hospitality is heart warming, staffs are always at your service with a smile . We had booked room 111 and 112, huge is size with two double bed with good air conditioning, toilet is big , neat and clean.Food quality is excellant with wider choices. The landscape garden is ideal for walking and seating idle. I recommend not to go to jungle safari , it is quite hectic and not worthy. Just sit back and pamper yourself and enjoy the stay.

Nestled amidst a lush green backdrop of rolling hills and sparkling waterfalls of the rich and diverse Eastern-Indian countryside is The Belgadia Palace. An 18th century victorian brick-built double-storey structure in the classical Western style of Doric-Corinthian column, a mixture of Greek and Victorian architecture. Home to the erstwhile royal family of Mayurbhanj, this boutique property invi
The erstwhile royal family still living in the palace which is converted to a Hotel. Very limited rooms. The bigger rooms and suites are good. The food is very good ! Staff like Shweta & Bijay to make our stay even more memorable. It’s a beautiful property with evening events like traditional dance and Local hand made artefacts on sale made by local artisans.

We drove to Bangriposi (Mayurbhanj district, Odisha) last month , where the Khairi Resort is situated at about 115 kms from Jamshedpur for a 1N/2D brief holiday. The resort can be easily located, as it is on the Kolkata - Mumbai highway. The resort which was originally owned by Odisha Tourism is now under a private management for the last few years. Spread over a large area, the resort has both AC (about 8 nos) and non-AC rooms. The AC room room, we stayed in, was good and was of basic type. There is however scope for improvement in interior decoration and furnishing. The resort has a kitchen and dining hall, where travelers can place advance orders as per their need. The food is okay but not great. The staff of the resort are supportive. Contrary to some reviews, we did not face power cuts during our stay. On the whole, it was a pleasant stay in a quite place in the midst of nature. We drove to nearby places of interest like, Buribalam river (7 kms approx), Maa Dwarsuni temple (3 kms approx), Banbal Irrigation dam (32 kms approx), Baripada Town (35 kms approx). However, due to paucity of time, we could not visit another place of interest, Bhramankund.

It is the best resort for tourist from Kolkata and Odisha and all over India, We served very good food, Maintain cleanliness. It is located in a peacefull place.
I am Pradip Kumar Basak. I came to Bangriposi to spend my holidays with my friends and family. But, unfortunately when I came to this hotel, the hotel manager gave us a small room which was a conference hall with only 2 windows, only one toilet, which was quite difficult to manage with such no. of members, but we spoke with the hotel manager to give us a dormitory before a month when we booked the hotel. We were 11 members but they served us with 7 beds. After convincing the hotel manager so much, he gave us a big dormitory room which had no beds but only 4 mattress, 2 windows and only 2 toilets. When we went out for sightseeing at 6 a.m. , it became a severe problem for us to get up from sleep very early and managing to get fresh for such no. of members before we head out for the sightseeing. The hotel manger charged us ₹10, 000 for sleeping 2 days on floor with 8 adults including 3 children. There were no such arrangements in the room... The food offered by the hotel was too bad and most of the vegetables were raw in the food and the quality of the food was so bad that we did not expect such poor food quality of food from the hotel authorities in exchange of such huge amount of money. They especially charged us ₹10, 000 for this poor quality of food. I request all the tourists and visitors, not to stay in this hotel because it is totally a waste of money.
