This "hotel" is a warm and welcoming family-managed palazzo with the treasures of the past and the conveniences of the present. The breakfast prepared and served by the delightful owner was a highlight of the stay, with fresh homemade bread, homemade marmalades (come during chestnut season for special treats), fresh cheeses and expertly cooked-to-order eggs. The rooms were large and furnished to make you feel connected to the place in its time. Memorable and sweet.

NATURIST B&B BORGO CORNIOLA The historic Borgo Rio Corniola is a marvellous naturist rest-stop immersed in nature, in the Tuscan hills, between Florence and Faenza. Its relaxing atmosphere spreads throughout the site and immerses you in timeless moments where you can escape the anxieties of modern life. Picture yourself relaxing with a book in front of the fireplace, or being re-energised by a swim in the stream after a Finnish sauna, or simply opening the window and breathing in the intoxicating air of the hills before you.
Unbelievable beautiful place. Quiet and plenty of natural beauty. The place to be for a naturist. Plenty of space, privacy as much as you like. A beautiful restored farm at a small romantic river. Do take the river suite. Exceeds all expectations. From your sleeping room you walk in a few steps from your bed to the river for a refreshing dive if you like. The owners, Laura and Francesco are very kind, caring and will help you with everything you need. Very nice sauna with infusion and dive in the cold water of the river. The best you ever had! This is certainly one of the most special, quiets and magnificent places you can be. You will never forget and will return.

This wonderful Bed & Breakfast deserves the highest marks on all levels. It has the Italian charm of an old house located on the slope of a valley, offering beautiful views and tranquility of a small village. The room was very comfortable, spacious and impeccably clean. And all this is topped with an amazing hospitality of the owner, Giancarlo, the most kind, attentive host. He made us a wonderful breakfast with a selection of local cheese and prosciutto, honey and home made jams, yoghurt and fresh fruit. He even baked fresh pastries, some of which we took with us on a hike. He also recommended and insisted on helping us with reservations for dinner at local restaurants (fantastic food). Last but not least he gave us great advice and information on local attractions and walks, as well as on the best places on our route through Italy. This was a very special and unforgettable stay. We recommend Lo Sghimbescio very warmly to anyone discovering this beautiful region.
