Reviewed By tchot80All was good, beautiful hotel seems to be recent. Rooms have all you need, shower is XL as much as the bed that is comfortable as a cloud and organic (!) I didn’t know. breakfast is dropped by the door, and the boss is very thoughtful. Was Great. It will be pleased to return on a next business trip ?

Reviewed By Luxury_Traveller_BLThe two good things to be said about this hotel or that the breakfast is nice and only costs about €6 and that the room was very clean. Otherwise it was a disappointment and the mattress was so soft that we had trouble sleeping and woke up with back pain. the room was very small and too warm and the view was ghastly. It was loud as well. The location is good is it is in the city centre of this time.

Reviewed By Misssophie1234Although situated across from the central station this hotel has a very quiet location, old fashion rooms no frills but in very good condition, excellent beds, plenty of windoes and a fan, mini bar, seating area, small bathrooms, plenty of private and free parking, wifi , excellent breakfast, and a fantastic gastronomical experience in the restaurant, a real pleasant surprise, a bar and inside and outside seating, dogs are welcome

Not a bad place, but be prepared...
Reviewed By markwenigThis is a nice pension hotel at the edge of a forest, located above the city of Marktredwitz, near the Czech border. We booked it directly with the hotel and got a written confirmation. But the confirmation didn't tell us that we needed to arrive after 16:00 (4pm), as no one is there in the afternoon before that time. We arrived at 1:45 and were told to come back at 3pm, so we had lunch in town and when we returned, no one had yet arrived. After calling, we were told someone would be there at 4pm! So lots of confusion. We requested a lower floor room and one NOT under the roof, as the heatwave in EU was still on. The woman who came (who turned out to be very nice) showed us a 2nd floor room, smack under the roof. We refused it and I thought we might have to leave, but she counter-proposed a ground floor room that was smaller, but cooler (and no fridge--another issue). This place doesn't offer any drinks in the evening and their "drinks machine" was out of beer (had everything else) which was never refilled over our two days. So you have to bring your own stuff and it's a bit of a hike by car into town, as the roads are not that easy to negotiate, and we always prefer to stay put. Anyway, we had our own table fan and the room, while warm, was bearable. Breakfast was good, but coffee was very weak, as they only have a drip coffee maker and no expresso or other machine to make it stronger. Overall, I think this place, while ok, was also overpriced at 79 Euro per night plus 5 Euro for breakfast. I think one can do better in this area, and over the border would even be less costly. We would give this place a miss next time.
