Ideal stop when on the Alpe Adria Trail
Reviewed By Shaun MThe hotel is ideally placed for those walking the Alpe Adria Trail. We had a very comfortable room and excellent breakfast. I can recommend the venison ragout for dinner (there could be greater choice for those, like my wife, who don’t eat meat). The staff were very friendly.

Amazing
Reviewed By Kele FWe visited here as a family of four. We were driving from England so it was going to be late when we checked in and early morning when we checked out but that wasn't a problem for them. They went well out of their way for us. Nothing was too much trouble. There's so much to do for the kids in the gardens and we often ate dinner out there on the bench. The breakfast was lovely my daughters favourite was chocolate spread and banana sandwich. Had a drink on an evening in the bar and we laughed so much. Rooms were plenty big enough for our 2 week stay and always spotlessly clean. It was the perfect place to watch the lightening storm from. We are looking at staying here again. We wouldn't go to any other hotel now.

Great stay - feels like coming home
Reviewed By thomasmV6009BZStaid here during a cycling race. The hotel personell organized everything to be perfect - and I am quite picky - staying lots in hotels. Had an appartement with the bedroom in 1st floor. Lots of wood on the wall and furniture, but this made it feel like coming home. Nice balcony - and all of that towards the quiet side of the hotel. Breakfast has been very good - every day something changed, so that it has not been boring. Mrs Priker herself ensures that wishes get reality. Large garden. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By janawew9Krásný, čistý penzion, kde jsme se cítili jako doma. Domácí byli velmi příjemní, ochotni poradit, vyjít vstříc... Krásné okolí, zahrada, pláž s lehátky. Kuchyň plně vybavená, pokoje dostatečně prostorné, z balkónu nádherný výhled na hory. Pro děti dostatečný prostor na hraní - zahrada, houpačka s klouzačkou, zvířata na farmě- koťátka, pes. Doporučujeme!!!

A place in Latschach to be avoided
Reviewed By sagognWe had booked and confirmed a three bed accomodation at the Waldschlössl in Latschach but when we arrived at the Guest House, there was no room left. After telling me that there had been a mistake and promising us another room at another Guest house with the same quality level, I agreed to cancel booking with no penalty. But arriving at the other location, there were no vacancies. When calling the manager of the Waldschlössl and asking for support to find another place to stay, the line was cut. So just be aware of the non-responsive and arrogant management of the Waldschlössli that does not honor a binding reservation via booking.com. This is clearly to be considered a breach of contract that should not happen in today's business world and I will not accept. An extremely unpleasant experience I would love to have missed.
