Palm Beach Hotel is a small, cosy refuge that's hidden in warm Southern Crete and situated directly at the sea. Where you don't expect it you'll find a lush, flowering oasis whose charm you'll be enthralled with as soon as you arrive. The glowing blue sea couples beautifully with the green garden of palm trees.Sometimes you arrive at a place on holiday which evokes only one wish – to never leave again. This place is the Palm Beach Hotel.Whether you're looking to cool yourself under the shade of palm trees or douse yourself in the tingly freshness of the sea, you can satisfy both desires here. By breakfast you'll know you are in a tropical oasis.
Basic hotel in a top position. This place has enormous potential but it appears unloved to say the least. The rooms are stuffy - that’ll be 5€ extra per night for air conditioning please. The dinner and breakfast are 15€ and 10€ respectively. A captive audience. No fridge in the room, no vegetarian options. The common area was lovely and the access to clean clear ocean water is fabulous. However a tourist expects a little more and the extra mile wasn’t achieved here. Also the saddest puppy in town lives here, a 4 month old chained up all day on the cement, have some compassion please let this puppy enjoy life, I felt so sad for it. Wifi only works in the common area although it stated available throughout the property. There is an entrance to the side of the hotel, so the guests don’t disturb the management team by buzzing the front door to be opened! The managers have been there for 20 years - perhaps it’s time for a change.

We have just spent a week at Moonlight Villas and it was stunning. The villa is exactly how it is advertised and more. It’s private, has everything you need and makes the time spent in Crete feel special. The service that comes with the villa is second to none. From the minute we booked we had great communication with Romeo (the property manager). He was very welcoming when we arrived and was available at any time of the day or night for guidance about the local area. A few local traditional restaurants are within walking distance of the villa and there is a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and GP (to get your fit to fly covid test) all within 150 meters from tne villa. Everyday the property grounds were cleaned and the infinity pool was maintained. I cannot recommend this villa and Romeo enough. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. Thank you.

Ionio Star Hotel Koutsouras The worst hotel I have ever been 796416239 1) The whole place was dirty full of leaves, and the swimming pools were empty. The restaurant was abandoned. There was no reception. 2) The beach was full of sharp rocks, without umbrellas or sea beds 3) Inside the room the fridge was not working, the sheets were full of human hair, and the toilet was dirty. 4) In the balcony there were used towels on the floor Definitely not good. We were worried about our health (especially in COVID-19 pandemic times). We left the hotel, but we lost our money.
