Reviewed By everlastingh2021Filthy! Dirty! Coffee maker was full of molds. Toilet was filthy. That room was never cleaned. I checked in at 11 pm and checked out at 9am. Just needed to stay during the night as it was raining! My car is way better than that room!

Beware: POOL LOCATED OFF PREMESIS
Reviewed By MissLloyd430I came to this location to take a certification which the testing site is 3 hours away from my home. Decided to make it a family trip so the first amenity I'm looking for is an indoor pool (my children love to swim). Called the hotel to confirm the pool was open to the public since Covid still exists but no one answered the phone. I called La Quinta's 800 customer service number and they assured me the pool is open. Although we check in after 9pm we still ask "where's the pool located?" The receptionist kindly informs us the pool is located behind the hotel in an athletic club called Court Jester. If I would've have been informed on the phone I would not have booked my stay here honestly. Johnson City, NY has inconsistent weather. For instance, our stay was in April and it was 30 degrees w/ snow. So having to go outside almost 1000ft away after being in the pool was inconvenient in my opinion. The hotel advertises that the pool is open from 8am-8pm which was another plus until reality has it that they're an athletic club with water classes so you may not "lap swim" the whole 12 hours they are open.... there are sessions you can sign up for and they clean the pool at noon. Also note the club is located next to a cemetery, like DIRECTLY next to. Court Jester is a nice club. The pool has water weights you can use and pool noodles. I saw some flippers for the children. There's a hot tub located in the women's locker room with a steam room. I'm not too sure if it's the same in the men's facilities as well. Back to the hotel: There was a problem with the slam lock in Room 110 (I believe). We came back and our room door was open. I figured maybe the housekeeper left it open but when I noticed my room wasn't cleaned nor linens changed (the housekeeper swears we denied service), we found that the door kind of bounces back open if not closed COMPLETELY. Nothing was missing... just the point. Food options are limited. Chocolates by Leopold was a nice treat. Food and Fire BBQ Taphouse had really good wings! Continental breakfast is continental breakfast so.... yeah. Hotel provides you with bar soap, 1 make up wipe, shampoo, and conditioner (No Lotion). The toilet is LOUD in my opinion.

Warm & Comfortable, even in MINUS 13 Degree Weather!
Reviewed By Holly HWe stayed at Traditions at the Glen to go to a memorial service for a dear friend, and there were several others in the family staying there also. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel provided in the shower and had ample towels. The thermostat worked, which was helpful since it was so cold outside all weekend! We arrived Friday night before the restaurant closed and though the menu seems limited, the food was delicious. There is a full service bar also. Breakfast is a buffet with scrambled eggs (I asked if they were real and was told they were liquid eggs(?)) and either bacon or sausage, and make your own waffles, cold cereals, bagels, fresh fruit, etc. The staff was very friendly and the history of the property is evident all over the first floor in photos of what the property was like when IBM owned it. I would stay here again, especially if the weather were warmer so we could play golf and enjoy the spa!

Bathroom was dirtier than any '60s roadside gas station!
Reviewed By itraveloften2018A terrible property in a great location. Filth throughout. Splatters on the wall, a toilet that hadn't seen a cleaning brush in weeks, maybe more. Should have know better but this was a SureStay PLUS! Food on the floor in the lobby upon check-in. Filthy, moldy bathroom. Toilet that was gray from not being cleaned, for some time. Drink splatters on the walls. No way did this location meet cleaning guidelines of any sort. BestWestern should be embarrassed if not ashamed to have their name associated with this hotel. Not sure?....I do have pictures!
