This pleasingly peculiar market town is rife with old mills and flapjack-like "upstairs-downstairs" houses. Annual festivals, theatrical productions and parades pump the locals (and tourists) with life. Don’t miss the Hardcastle Crags or hiking along the gorgeous Pennine Way, and be sure to have a stroll along the inspirational Rochdale Canal.

The White Lion is a traditional coaching inn; with exposed timber and masonry, an abundance of comfortable corners to hide in, and always a warm and friendly atmosphere. Set on a riverside location in central Hebden Bridge, the inn has always been well known for fine country ‘pub’ dining, and its extensive choice of wines and real cask ales. All of which can be enjoyed throughout the year, whether that be in front of a roaring log fire, or in one of our scenic riverside cobbled courtyards.
Just stayed for two nights. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Food was amazing. Breakfast and evening meal both delicious. Staff are very young and very helpful. Everything seems to be well organised and runs smoothly. Would definitely stay again.

Hebden Townhouse is the new name for Moyles Townhouse B&B. The rooms are a unique fusion of contemporary design and the enduring qualities of the original Victorian structure. Situated in the centre of the old mill town of Hebden Bridge in the heart of The Pennines it stands opposite the cobbled marina and is just a few minutes walk from the railway station. The individual and creative shops are also close by making Hebden Bridge an exciting blend of town and country.
We stayed overnight at the Hebden Townhouse and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable stay, in a great location with fantastic amenities. The booking process was very quick and easy. The key code on the doors and arrangement for picking up the key was super efficient. Our room (Cinema) was really comfy, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was particularly impressive. A great selection and well presented and served by friendly staff. Parking is always tricky in Hebden Bridge but once you've got your space you don't need to move the car as there are lots of good pubs, restaurants and shops all in very easy walking distance. There was a little noise from the road outside, but not enough to keep us awake.

Ate here tonight with friends (Thursday 9th June). Absolutely outstanding food - just delicious and well prepared, cooked and presented.. Lots of it too. Nice to see a place which actually knows how to cook veg without destroying it. Hope this continues to be the norm as we would love to eat there again at some point. Great staff and service and a very comprehensive menu with reasonable prices. Good luck to the new owners and we hope that the pub becomes a massive success for them.

A group of 12 family and friends came here last night for the 80’s disco and what a great night we had! There was only us and 2 others in but what a night. I think this pub will take a while to get its reputation back up and I hope it does. Good luck guys.

My wife and I had a 3 day break in the one bedroom cottage and from beginning to end it was a delight. The accommodation was of the highest quality we have ever experienced. The decor and furnishings had obviously been completed to a very high standard and in the way of self catering nothing had been omitted. The heating was ideal by way of radiators and a wood burning stove. We would certainly recommend the accommodation and hope to return. We further enjoyed the Alpacca Walk with a knowledgeable account on them by Tracy the owner who we found to be very warm, friendly and helpful.
