Don’t go to the brewers fare as you will be disappointed. Instead go to the hungry horse down the road. The staff at the brewers fare were grumpy and the burger I ordered look nothing like what was advertised, in fact I left it, walked out and went to MacDonalds

My mother and I stayed for two nights. Having read the reviews had a couple of reservations. However this was totally unnecessary. The hotel is lovely and clean with the decoration suiting it’s period. Our rooms were lovely, clean and practical with brand new bathrooms. The highlight without a doubt are the staff who without exception were friendly and very attentive to our every need (I should mention Samantha who already under pressure from a busy wedding took time to talk my mother through the menu helping with her choice) This is a busy hotel ideally situated to explore Greenock and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. I very much look forward to using it again.

Pop over to the coastal town of Greenock for a stay at OYO The Custom House Hotel. Located just 25 minutes from Glasgow Airport, it makes for a great place to stop over before a flight. The historic town of Greenock is a five minute walk away, where you'll be greeted by impressive Victorian buildings and the Custom House Museum. And for outdoor lovers, the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park is just two miles away - so don't forget your hiking boots. Back at the hotel you'll find a comfy room with an an en-suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and tea & coffee making facilities. Downstairs, there's a restaurant serving up a wide variety of meals throughout the day along with a bar.
First stay at the oyo last night and was really impressed by the welcome, quality of the room and overall feeling of the place. If you want corporate standardisation try somewhere else. If you want good honest local run accommodation in the heart of the old dock land area, this is the place to stay, I’ll definitely be back!

Lovely welcome from Danny and Joan. Room was comfortable with access to microwave, crockery and fridge. The highlight was full breakfast outside in the sunshine. Danny could not have been more helpful and he has excellent local knowledge. My bike was stored in secluded garden shed. Will book again.

The website makes the apartments look perfect for business travel and reasonable price. The photo on the website of the bedroom are certainly nothing like the room I was shown! The website is misleading. The room I was shown was on the ground floor, through two lots of heavy doors with seperate security numbers, the room was very dismal, smelled damp and the shower was dark and dreary and not what i expected. I arrived after 5.30 and the office was closed, people hanging around the two doors at the front with no lighting was intimidating to me as a female travelling alone. I did not feel safe and just had to leave the property as soon as I could. This is no hotel I can assure you...

The approach to the hotel is characterised by litter and over grown shrubs. The room we were in was very dated. The windows offered very little insulation from noise or the weather. The bathroom was very grubby with broken tiles, dirty grout and a dirty shower curtain. However the room did have a bed and curtains so met our needs to sleep. Breakfast is similarly basic but okay if just want a coffee.
