We stayed here for the first time during the weekend of May 20th and had an excellent experience. The view from room 20 was beautiful and the room was clean with a nice balcony. Anthony was very helpful and provided some great dining recommendations since we were new to the area. We will definitely be back!

Nice spot!

This inn has come along way! Everything we saw - our room, lobby, fitness center was totally updated and really nice. The remodels are very fresh, on trend and clean. I’d agree with a previous review- some runners in the hallways and area rugs in rooms to soften noise would be nice. Brandon and the whole stuff were very friendly and helpful. Three minute drive to gunstock mountain was awesome!! I’d definitely recommend this place and hope to come stay again soon. The bear den (room 214) was great for family!! Kids loved the Bunk beds + roll away.

Never again!

We have stayed here a few times before because this property is within walking distance of the Bank of NH Pavillion. We already had booked this visit for a concert, which was cancelled due to the pandemic. We decided to spend the weekend anyway just to get out for a bit. For a motel room the tab came to over $500 for 2 nights. This place simply isn’t worth what they charge. The room was very dated, with badly scratched bathroom cabinetry. The towel bar was stained and badly warped from moisture. The carpet had apparently been recently cleaned, but remained damp to the touch throughout our stay. The TV remote would not work at all, so we called the desk attendant, who offered a replacement. When I approached the office, there were 4 people lingering right in front, several smoking cigarettes right by the door. One of them, a woman, said “can I help you?” I told her I was getting a TV remote. She said “not without a mask!”. Now, I had zero problem putting on a mask to go inside, but the air around her was filled with cigarette smoke, which is an actual health hazard, not a theoretical one! I told her she was rather rude, and I didn’t appreciate walking through smoke in a public area of the resort. Once I got back with the tv remote, it still didn’t really work, I had to point it a few inches from the sensor to change channels. I could have done that with an old school push button Zenith! The WiFi did not work in the room at all. And did I already mention over $500 for 2 nights? They may get away with this for some travelers, but never again for us.

Great early spring get-away

Reviewed By Donna D

Just returned from a week away in the lovely Lake Winnipesaukee area (first time there), Our stay at the Fireside Inn was perfect. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and nicely appointed. Our king size bed was very comfortable. Each morning's "grab and go" breakfast was a very nice addition to our stay (especially on a snowy day). In particular, the staff was wonderful--very personable and accommodating. Thank you to Kristal and Debbie at the front desk, Barbara in the cafe, and Zeke in housekeeping. Thank you!
