Great place!
Reviewed By 584katjabGood standard on this hostell at Dovre. The room are simple but clean and with good beds. The Staff is friendly. The food is very good and are homemade and gives a good introduction to the Norwegian food. This is a good place to stay if you want to go on Moskussafari or walk the top to Snøhetta. The only thing Missing was the dry-room that did not worked to well for drying clothes after heavy rain..

Ok for passing by - don't make this your holiday home
Reviewed By Christopher Jam... WWe rented a family room for one night in July. Would not recommend more than a night for passing by. The room is a little dated, but bed was comfy enough. Very good size room, and the room actually consists of a room nr 2 with two smaller child beds. Perfect for a family of four. Nice guy at check in. Small led tv in room and small fridge. Nice toilet/shower. Be sure to ask for a room away from the E6, or there will be a lot of traffic noise. Breakfast was adequate with warm eggs and bacon, nice bread and bread rolls, selection otherwise was ok ÷. Dinner tasted like food warmed in a micro. The place is family driven, for better or worse... For instance it states free WiFi, but it is unstable, and so slow it is impossible to use. All modern hotels have high speed WiFi in year 2020 in Norway. Speed tested to +- 1 mbit in room without the place being packed out... Netflix and even normal surfing was too slow. Also, the place is advertised with a summer pool, which would be included in the price in any normal hotel. On their web page and Facebook it is _NOT_ stated that it actually costs 30kr pr person pr day for guests! 50kr if your not a guest. Although not expensive compared to most things in Norway, for a big family staying for a week it would amount to quite a lot just to have a quick swim. Somehow feels like you are tricked having to pay pr person pr day when they do not state it before you actually arrive. Update your web page asap.

Reviewed By high_low73Very convenient and fairly cheap accommodation along E6. Reception is at the gas station. Staff was very friendly and smiling. Cabin is a few metres down towards the river. Cabins includes a bathroom, living room and a small kitchen. In the kitchen were also beds. I found the cabin perfectly suitable for a nights sleep. Most amazingly were the feeling of stepping back in time. If I didn't know better I easily could believe I found myself back in the late 70s or early 80s. Even the brochure, added to help me find the cabin, did enhance this feeling.

Terrible, unpleasant, dirty and rude.
Reviewed By larswwManager Guri appeares to be an unpleasant and rude hag of a woman. Not open for input at all. She was having a go at the guest checking out in front of us. Gave us the same treatment when we presented our opinion. Food is seriously overpriced and bland. Fecies on several toilet of the toilet seats. This is where the joy of vacation comes to die. Worn out place that should’ve been demolished decades ago. This place is an embarrassment to itself. Someone give this hotel manager a class in public relations management (and anger management while you’re at it)... Such a disappointment.
