I was there to pick up my daughter from The Outdoor Academy. Kimberly was so friendly and was able to answer some of my questions about Somme of the flowers in the front of the hotel. She greeted me each time we left or returned to the hotel. She gave us a great map to f the local waterfalls. We will definitely be back!

Nature Revives the Spirit. Revive yours at one of our fully equipped 1 or 2 bedroom cabins; secluded walk-to tent sites or shady sites for small RVs. Located on 14 wooded mountaintop acres near Brevard, Dupont Forest, Pisgah Forest, Asheville, Biltmore, waterfalls, hiking and mountain biking.
Our cabin was just perfect. The owners were super friendly and had everything anyone would need from personal hygiene to mints on the pillows to having maps, print off on the places to go and visit. ?

Unable to get dirty towels or trash removed from room after calling and asking. Service was horrible, the hotel is new but the ice machine was broken, they claimed they could not get food or coffee due to a food shortage. We asked for our room to be serviced several times ,finally someone knock on the door and gave us clean towels. We were booked for a week of hiking but left 3 days of this poor service.

The Sunset Motel is a hip, unique and affordable 50's roadside motor court that has been lovingly "retrovated" with modern amenities (Wifi, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, blow dryer,flat-screen TV,HBO,Cable). We are always improving! Our little blast-from-the-past is centrally located between DuPont & Pisgah Forests and within walking distance to Brevard's picturesque downtown. Each room is unique and all, save one, are on the ground-level, 5 with kitchens/kitchenettes. Lounge about on our patio in vintage chairs and strike up a conversation with other guests over a glass of your fave libation. We offer the best of Southern hospitality. Come as our guest. Leave as our friend! (Designated pet rooms available and we are 100% smoke-free inside with a designated smoking area outside.)
My wife and I just recently stayed for three nights over Valentine's Day weekend to get out and do some hiking and mountain biking in Brevard, and sunset motel was our obvious choice for this time of year. The price alone is all the reason you might need, but also it's proximity to all of the local dining and small shops. Also an added bonus it's only a 10 minute drive to The Pisgah Forest ranger district to get outdoors and enjoy the area and it's natural beauty. The motel was no frills. You get a fridge, microwave, TV and a hot shower along with clean beds. From what I understand, there are also many improvements in the pipeline for the near future that we will be looking forward to enjoying during future visits. 10 out of 10 if you aren't looking for a resort.

I have literally not been here an hour and I’m writing this review. Have been calling for two days to inquire about check in as I knew we would arrive later than planned. No answer, and full voicemail where I could not leave message. No reply to email or text. Immediately upon entry, the lamps would not turn on. None of them are plugged in so you fumble in dark. Might have been better with lights off. It is 1970s wood paneling, wall unit AC, non-working tv remote (complete with note that it is broken and not the battery), beeping smoke detector, dirty rug, dirty ceiling fan, notes that you may not use your own hair dryer as it is too many watts and will trip breakers. It is decorated with the most random assortment of yard sale art and furnishings. Can’t call the office to ask them to send up a battery for the smoke detector since the phone is a personal cell that goes unanswered. Husband went down and got one to stop the beeping. Not exactly the “elegant Victorian inn” advertised. We would have had a MUCH nicer room for less money at the Holiday Inn. Super bummed to have spent so much money and be stuck here for two nights. $540+ for two nights here. You’ve got to be kidding me. I was so looking forward to an historic B&B weekend away.
