Tranquility at the lake

Checked in by the very hospitable co-host Mr McDermott with an admirable high stress threshold and very welcoming attitude. Service during dinner was a bit hectic. Small room in the adjacent guest house, basic decorated and equipped but recently renovated and quite comfortable. Very small bathroom without storage space. Common lounge area with sofas, tables and TV at the end of corridor and a small outdoor area with lake view. Basic but OK breakfast served in the old inn. All in all a different and very positive experience in the small cosy village of Bosau surrounded by beautiful landscapes.

5 star stay with amazing views, food, and service
Reviewed By Climber20572612452We loved our stay at the Strauers Hotel am See. We had never heard of Bosau and could not believe how lovely and scenic the town is. They apparently call this place the Switzerland of Northern Germany. The hotel room was modern and recently renovated. The room had a spectacular views of the lake (Lake Plön) was simply breathtaking. The hotel manager (young man) was so helpful. The food was similar to many Michelin 1 star restaurants.

nice hotel near the lake
Reviewed By Orna-romwe stayed here one night in our trip to schelesing area in germany. the room are well decorated and ver clean. unfortunately we got two rooms with problem. one is with bad smell and the second with venta device making noise continuosly. they chaned the room with the noise but it tooked time. the breakfast is good.
