Lake Macquarie Motor Inn consists of 20 Ground Floor Spacious units, free parking opposite rooms. All various room types: Queen, (Twin) Queen and Single, (Family) Queen and Two singles all have air-conditioning, with One Room being a Disability room with open bathroom and Queen and a Separate Carers Bed. There are 81cm TV/DVD, Tea and coffee facilities,toaster,& microwave, continental breakfast is available. All rooms are quite and the property is set back for a blissfully quiet night sleep. FREE Internet, Guest Laundry (coin operated Washer and Dryer) and also an outside cloths Line. We have Car park space for trailers, boats, jetski, travelling car clubs. Between Ocean and Lake, so come and enjoy magnificient lake sunsets, swimming and fishing. For those who enjoy Clubbing, walk to the Sports Club around the corner, drive around Lake Macquarie to the Yacht Club, or 16 footers Club for restaurant / bistro meals. Take-away and pre-ordered meals at Marks Point shops. Enjoy our swimming pool and bbq facilities, well there's always the shops, 5 mins into Belmont Central Shops, 15 mins to Charlestown Square and 20 mins to Westfield Centre. Deposit may be required for school holidays and peak periods.
Clean, Quiet and a Great Night's Sleep!
Reviewed By Cate SThe Family Room was very clean and looked new. Being able to park right outside the room made it very convenient. It was quiet - the Pacific Highway gave off only a low hum. Check-in was quick and the Manager was very obliging with our request for extra (just in case) blankets. There were a couple of things that might be changed (e.g. blockout curtains would make the room darker) but it had all the features that are the most important and we would happily stay at LMMI again.

In poor condition
Reviewed By Phill BOn arrival I was greeted with a locked reception office & a note attached to the door saying that the office was closed for 15 minutes & to ring 0484550249 for service. Whilst I was there 4 other customers turned up & they also had to wait. I tried to ring 5 times only for the phone to ring out, I tried the office number & it did not get answered. When I booked, I asked for 2 rooms together, & stated I was disabled & required a ground floor & is the room suitable for a disabled person. On arrival I was allocated 1 & our friends were given room 6 certainly not together. • Room 1, was the furthest from the office at the back of the motel. • On entering it smelt musty which hit us both straight away • Then we noticed the very poor condition of the furniture • The bathroom, is old & in poor condition • There was NO hot water – the best we could get was luke warm water. • The room only had 4 power points 2 in the kitchen & 2 in the bathroom • The kettle was covered inside with yellow sediment, it took 20 minutes to boil & the power cord test was out of date. • The chairs inside are missing the padding & are uncomfortable. • The bed was so hard it was like laying on a hard wooden plank. For $140p/n I did expect something more comfortable. Neither my wife nor myself were able to sleep under such poor conditions. • Parking within the Motel is restricted & poorly though out, because of lack of area for cars to park the longer vehicles take up 2 or 3 spaces where your car should be in the parking area. • It is a NON smoking motel, although it was not policed as the person in the next room was smoking just outside our door. • The TV did NOT work, there were only 3 stations & they spent all the time pixelating & saying no signal.

Reviewed By Noons1960The smell of cigarettes in the reception office was not a great start. Very very basic and dated room. The arctic blast off the lake was whistling under the gap in the door way. We had to have the air con on heat for the entire night as the bed linen was very sparse. Air con was mouldy inside and gave the room that musty old smell. Bed was comfy, shower was hot but water was pouring out every which way. The photos definitely did not match the experience. Rubbish piled up in the grounds including what looks like an abandoned car. It served the purpose for a weekend stop over just not sure I could face that again.

Reviewed By christinepE565TXStaff indeed were friendly however the beds were not made or room cleaned from the previous tenants. Place felt run down and somewhat neglected. No soap in shower. I could see that renevations had commenced which may be hope for improvements but I would not stay here unless no other options at present.

Seafood Bouillabaisse….Don’t order it.
Reviewed By Noons1960Quite a nice pub. Well decked out clean and comfortable Nice cold beer but the food…the seafood bouillabaisse was probably up there with the worst meal I’ve ever been served. The half bug was inedible, watery, odd tasting seafood and the soup base was awful. Other meals coming out looked great so maybe just a bad choice. I would delete it from the menu. I can’t imagine anyone would enjoy it.
