The hotel was actually a pleasent place, all apart from when they charged my card for someone elses booking and I have had a HUGE fight on my hands to get this refunded to my card. Laura Baltaduonyte is supposedy the guest experience manager, she is rude, srgumentative and amended a contract with pen and tried to sy this is what had been signed. very very unprofessional. Other issues with the hotel plug broken and green slimy water all over windowsills of the pool, changing rooms and spa area.

The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield opened in 2008 to spectacular international reviews including Conde Nast's Red Hot List for best new hotels in the world. The oldest documented building in Beaconsfield, a fifteenth century coaching inn, has been meticulously restored and elaborately designed to provide dramatic architecture and uncompromised luxury. The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield is a unique oasis in quintessential England and the antithesis to bland hotels.
Poor food, poor service, outrageous price for a Tuesday night meal in their Thai restaurant. £72 for a small starter for 4 people which was deep fried but cold and tasteless. Forgot my main course so others were half way through their meal before mine arrived. Won’t be going back!

A lovely 17th Century family-owned coaching inn with a reputation for exceptional food served in the bar, lounge and restaurant. Our 4* Hotel boasts 29 individual bedrooms all with fantastic new bathrooms. Close to High Wycombe and Beaconsfield, nestled in the Chiltern countryside above the River Thames at Cookham. Private room for meetings and private dinners and functions. Outdoor patio area for drinks and meals in the summer. Electric-charging facilities are available for guests.
I stayed for 4 nights in April while traveling on business. Quite charming and yet with modern amenities within the room. Breakfast was good with prompt service. Pub was great for few drinks after work. A bit tucked away from the main roads so it was fairly quiet even though my room faced the roadside. Overall a great stay.

I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is clean and tidy, warm & friendly. The staff are absolutely amazing. Big shout out to Susanne, Kim & the manager..happy chappy...so friendly and happy to help. Nice pub right opposite and location is good and nicely tucked in the old town of Beaconsfield.

My partner, son and I stayed at the Ibis after a busy day at Thorpe Park. The hotel was spotlessly clean and we liked the modern decor. The rooms are small as expected but we did not feel cramped. There is no bathroom as such- there is a shower cubicle, sink in the room and seperate toilet. There is no kettle in the room but there is a hot drinks machine close to reception. The location is brilliant with a Nandos, Wetherspoons etc right on the doorstep. We would visit again. Many thanks!

The Old Bell is a 4 star traditional, family-run English Country Inn dating back to the 16th century. Recently refurbished to a high standard. Our 5 en suite bedrooms retain the original features but with a modern twist. Whilst retaining our local pub atmosphere, you're to be charmed by the beamed ceilings, open fresh, vibrant bar and a large al fresco garden to the rear of the property.
We’ve visited The Old Bell three times in the last two years, twice on my birthday for breakfast. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners and found her super funny! She has a wonderful charm that makes you chuckle. We both had a lovely leisurely breakfast which was great! She found out from my friend that it was my birthday and brought out a slice of chocolate cake with a candle in it. Bottom line for us is the food is great but the owners and staff are fab! Great local pub.
