I wish this review was going to be better. I booked days in advance for one night for my daughter and I. I spoke to the owner three times over the phone. Yet when we arrived, we rang the door 5 times with no response. Eventually she opened the door and shouted 'do you have a booking', yes we do we replied..'.what name '? I gave the name, she said 'are you sure?' Then directed us to the other front door. Another 5 minutes later she opened that one. 'Are you sure you booked with me ? 'Yes, i gave you my credit card no etc. Honestly. She then asked us to sign in and said to us 'you opted for no breakfast.' I explained that we would like breakfast because we had more time the following morning. Her response was 'too late, I would have to go shopping'. At this stage we were thinking does she really want our business? Showed us the kitchen and then our room (no 4) and said 'you will be gone by 12?'. I explained we would be gone by 10. The room was very hot. The duvet covers on both beds did not match. The beds were uncomfortable. There was one glass in the bathroom, not two. No hangers in the wardrobe and the towels were hard. We paid 70 euro for this room. We could hear the tv in the other rooms and the people talking. I have never ever had this sort of welcome in a B and B in Ireland and it was beyond disappointing. Shocking way to treat people. Please go elsewhere.
