This cosy Hotel situated above the city hill, features a peace and an absolutely calm, a part from overview delightful views of the city.

Reviewed By jeanette51Only stayed there one night on our way to Andorra , booked on chance with Booking .com , the hotel was very clean and comfy , we had breakfast there and this was very nice it was a continental breakfast but plenty of things to choose from, the staff was pleasant and helpful even got us a coffee and a beer when the bar was closed , there was only one bath towel in the room when we arrived but within 5 minutes of calling the desk they delivered more towels. There is plenty of parking and it is not far from the town , the only thing to look out for is the sign to the hotel as it is at the other side of the roundabout on the road to Tremp. The only down side to the hotel is the restaurant does not open until late for evening meal.

Reviewed By johnwQ1928NJI’ve stayed worse places. But it has little to commend it. I use a wheelchair. It’s not accessible. One step up from the street. Two steps down to reception and two more for the lift. There is level access from car park to lift, but it only holds two cars. We’d booked a double, got a twin. Nice view over Segre river. Bathroom dated. 19(0’s 4” (10cm) tiles in pink. No adaptations at all. I had messaged ( they didn’t reply ). No grab handles. Not even a shower stool. Single beds ok. Room clean. Heating worked.

Basic guesthouse in centre
Reviewed By pavakealThe guesthouse was clean and for the price, was good value. Our rooms were large with en suite facilities and functioned well. Breakfast area was very basic although prepacked cakes were fresh. This is a short stay hostel when in the area and not a vacationers paradise. Manager/owner seen when checking in only as reception not manned.

Reviewed By Maite120570This is a classic house-palace with a great athmosphere. Enormous rooms, very comfortable, big dinning room, terrace with views to the river. All together really charming. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great, even with the limitations imposed by covid. Recommended.

Cal Comabella is an art-nouveau-style rural house located in the historical Balaguer's Mercadal square. You can book individual bedrooms or the entire house, with breakfast included. The building has a panoramic terrace which overlooks the Segre river. That's perfect to explore the Montsec mountain and the Urgell's plaine. Cal Comabella's facilities have been renovated and original architectural characteristics and decorative elements remained intact. You will feel rested in in a cozy environment. The bedrooms are provided with heater, sheets, towels, a big screen tv set and en-suite bathrooms, equipped with a hair-dryer. Some rooms offer a view over the river or the Mercadal square. The property includes a common room with board games, a kitchen fully equipped with a dish-washer and a laundry. An iron is also provided for free. Free wifi is available in all rooms. Cal Comabella has a tourist information point. Rental bicycles is also provided. Ideal for families, couples & groups.

Espectacular comida en mirador de sant llorenç Gran visita guiada con jaume barbà Buenísima coca de recapte y panado! Balaguer: Donde las montañas se dan la mano con la plana d’urgell Muy recomendable para finde en familia!

Reviewed By anabpiperLa primera impresión es mala ya que se anuncia como recepción 24h pero no hay recepción a ninguna hora del día ya que lo único que tiene es un mostrador con publicidad (eso no es una recepción) y no sé ve a nadie por ningún lado, ni siquiera puedes entrar, cuando llegamos nos abrió un huésped que coincidió que estaba allí, y ya por las escaleras apareció la dueña, comentar de ella que se empeñaba en hablarnos todo el rato en catalán cuando le subimos más de una vez que no le entendíamos. La habitación no estaba mal la cama bien, el cuarto de baño bien, aunque también anuncia que hay amenities cuando no es así. Conclusión: no estuvo mal para pasar una noche pero no repetiría.
