Stayed 4 nights half-board in July 2021 in the main part of the hotel. The room we has was wonderful, about 30 sq. m. Double bed and two sofas. Huge balcony with fabulous views east across the mountains. The bathroom is new with a shower over the bathtub. The WiFi is unencrypted with excellent speed and coverage throughout the hotel. There is a 'wellness' area in the cellar with a modest-sized sauna (fkk) - summer opening is from 5-7:30 pm. The breakfast buffet was good with a nice selection of fresh fruit, bread and rolls. The evening meals were really excellent. They will provide packed lunches for a small fee. Although the hotel is on the main road through the village, we never once heard any traffic noise. We were there in the 'shoulder' season and there was plenty of parking close to the main entrance. We are fluent in German, so we don't know if the staff speak English. What let the hotel down was the complete lack of interaction with the guests. Almost no information was given with respect to the facilities and services on offer. the staff showed no interest in where we had come from, what we did each day, whether we were happy with the room and service. There was no suggestions of places to hike, places to visit, etc. It gave us the feeling of just being a business transaction, not valued guests. Some examples: you could have eggs with breakfast cooked to order - but nobody offered; there is a free services card which allows free travel on the buses (and who knows what else) which wasn't offered until we asked about buying tickets; nobody checked that the popular parts of the breakfast/salad buffet were replenished, and nobody on hand to ask. This was all a pity, because it really is a great place to stay: very very comfortable, great food, great value for money and in a brilliant location.

family-run hotel in the Dolomites with an idyllic mountain view alpin-meditteräne kitchen, variety of room types including pineal room, panoramic dining room, Elevator, Wi-Fi, bowling alley, children's play room. In the winter, Antermoia offers a ski lift for beginners, groomed trails, toboggan run and numerous routes for snow-shoe hiking. Walks begin at the front door. Welcome to mountain, nature, pleasure
We have stayed at this family-run hotel twice while skiing over New Year's week, and both times were absolutely wonderful. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and they are able to offer family-sized, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suites that work well for us, especially with all of our skiing paraphernalia. The Prousch family and their employees work very hard to make sure their customers feel like guests. In the course of a week, you get to know other guests, many of whom return year after year, for good reason. The new bar area reminds me of staying at a lodge or retreat, with families playing games, doing puzzles and chatting in the evening hours between skiing and dinner. My daughter loved the kids' area and made new friends (German and Italian are the languages in the kids' "club"). Breakfast and dinner are consistently excellent, with new culinary experiences each trip. The view of the Dolomites from the hotel is absolutely incredible. The only tricky part is the drive there in the winter, as the hotel is truly off the beaten path. For motorcyclists it must be an absolutely glorious ride up in the summer. I highly recommend Hotel Putia for anyone looking for a comfortable, lovely, traditional, family-oriented place to stay in the Dolomites.
