Standard hotel, no Dinner restaurant at hotel
Reviewed By Pia PWe were on our way back to Denmark, and had a nights stay in Achim. Arrived late afternoon. At the hotel there is no restaurant (only at breakfast). Had to walk about 1 km to the nearest restaurant for Dinner. The room itself was ok, average size. The bathroom (handicap friendly) was ok size. In the evening you had to choose at what time you wanted to have breakfast and was given a Number for a table. Breakfast was ok - nothing fancy. Friendly staff. Due to the COVID-19 instructions you had to wear facemasks

Nice outlook; good food
Reviewed By Paul HMy wife and I stayed here for two nights. The location on the river is easy on the eye, and the reception were very welcoming. The restaurant is good on quality and value. It gets very busy with people from the local area visiting, so much so that when we arrived in the evening there was limited parking. What let the hotel down a little for us was the room, which didn't have much in the way of character. But maybe that's just us; the room was certainly clean and large. In the en suite, the shower in the bathroom was a little rickety. Nonetheless, the overall experience was positive and we'd stay again.

Reviewed By elizabethn188633This hotel is in an excellent location. Small village right by the motorway. It is clean, bright and comfortable with a lovely peaceful terrace. We received a very warm welcome. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant excellent value and quality. As we left during a period of exceptionally hot weather, we were handed bottles of chilled water and cereal bars. Absolutely lovely.

Excellent rooms and restaurant
Reviewed By Tim MI stayed for 4 nights on a business trip. The rooms were clean and looked like they were recently decorated. Spacious, warm with a large TV. The restaurant bar was the best part of our stay. Great home cooked food, and it was busy every night with locals comic g for birthday parties and group meals. There is plenty of space, the service was quick and the food was excellent. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit this particular customer.

Reviewed By justme66405Great hotel. Easy to find. Parking close by. Friendly staff and the breakfast was very good!! The room was comfortable and clean!!plenty of room for 3 of us to stay. I would stay again if I get back to the area!!!

Es war keiner zum check in da, Hotel auch schlecht
Reviewed By A6945HTcram84wir sind zur vereinbarten Zeit (16:30 Uhr) eingetroffen. Die Tür war verschlossen. Es gab eine Klingel, an der stand "bitte klingeln, wir kommen in 2 Minuten. Also klingelten wir und warteten. Nach einer Minute kam eine Frau zu uns und sagte, dass Sie schon eine Stunde warteten und Telefonisch keiner erreichbar ist. Wir haben die Festnetz und Handynummer angerufen, welche uns von E-Mail Kontakt bekannt war (Die Nummern standen auch an der Hoteltür. Es ist immer nur eine Mailbox rangegangen. Erst um 17:15 konnten wir ins Zimmer. Das Zimmer war schon lange nicht mehr renoviert, was nicht schlimm ist. Es war aber dreckig. Im Badezimmer gab es vor der Toilette einen Blutfleck. In der Dusche gab es schimmel. Auf der Handtuchheizung war Staub. Das einzig Positive war das Frühstück. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel nicht empfehlen.
