Excellent basecamp for the summit attempt but don't expect a luxury hotel.
Reviewed By JNKettingIt's among the best imaginable and most comfortable locations to use as a basecamp for a summit attempt on Elbrus. As a basecamp it is remarkably comfortable. It outdoes all the other accommodations on Elbrus of above 3000 meter. There are no showers so bring wet wipes. Toilets and sinks are ok. Food is reasonably ok. The bunk beds and sleeping accommodations are basic, clean and comfortable. There are pillows and sleeping bags but you might want to bring your own sleeping bag. Wifi didn't work. Views are amazing. The administration and management is well willing but bureaucratic, unorganized and not very professional but if you speak Russian then they are open to remarks and try to do their best. So, if you come to climb mount Elbrus then the place is perfect. If you just come to stay the night then think twice.

Reviewed By AleksandrKatenПровели семьёй незабываемые новогодние каникулы на Эльбрусе. Ночлегом случайно выпало быть в RELAX. Не пожалели ни разу! Домашний завтрак и ужин состоящий из национальных блюд это бомба!!! Так же можно заказать вкусняшки на огне. Чистая, ухоженная комната с чистым бельём и заботливым хозевами оставили только хорошие впечатления. Вид из окна отдельная история. До Азау и до Чегета 200р на местном такси или 20 минут пешком.
