It seems like every time of year is "in season" in Lenox, a small Berkshire town that has been a popular retreat since the 19th century. In summer, picnic on the lawn at Tanglewood, the Boston Symphony Orchestra's summer home. In fall, when foliage peaks, take to the hiking and biking paths of the Pleasant Valley Sanctuary to immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of the mountains. Winter visitors enjoy skiing at a number of resorts and cross-country trails, and in spring, hikers and golfers practice their pastimes in splendid settings. Rejuvenating treatments and pampering, at the well-known Cranwell Spa, are favored all year long.

If you ever need the help of a massage therapist, I highly recommend Omar at Rhythms Massage & Bodywork. He's accommodating, professional and so good at what he does. He is an expert in myology and possesses a stunning intuition that serves each individual under his care. During my first visit, Omar discovered that one of my shoulder blades was actually trapped behind some of my muscles and that why I was having such trouble with my posture. I just had my second massage with him and once again, I feel amazing!

On a roadtrip through the Berkshires decided to stop here for a few minutes. Ended up spending at least a couple of hours. The grounds are stunning and there is so much to explore from the formal gardens, trails through the woods and pet cemetery. I didn't even have time to tour the inside of the house, but I thoroughly enjoyed The Mount.

My husband and I went hiking here due to our innkeeper’s recommendation. It’s walking distance to the trailhead from downtown Lenox. Lots of trails-very good ones. Recommended. Hope to come back.

Very creative and whimsical art sculptures by Tom Fiorini in his outdoor sculpture gallery. He re-imagines every day tools and parts into art that will put a smile on your face. Tom is very friendly and will give you local history along with suggestions for things to do and see in the area. A true gem in Lenox, MA.
