Bogor is near enough to Jakarta to be a suburb but is also the third largest city in Indonesia and was once capital of the Sunda Kingdom. The city is at a slightly higher elevation than Jakarta and so offers a respite from the high temperatures and humidity of the city. With a world renowned botanical garden and a presidential palace (including massive herds of tiny deer), Bogor offers enough attractions to be worthy of a side trip of several days. Bogor is renowned for having a wide variety of cuisine and also offers golf courses, tennis and other recreational activities.

1st time playing here after hearing about it for so long. The scenery and golf layout are excellent. Food and the golf terrace can rival any upmarket golf courses in the world. Green was a bit of a let down since hollow thinning was done prior to my visit. By now it should be a lot better and faster.

For my friends who had been wanting to golf in Bogor, this golf club was an eye opener! They enjoyed playing there with wonderful and great caddies assisting / guiding their game in both Indonesian & English languages. They also enjoyed the caddies friendliness plus the restaurant’s waitresses great service - ALL with a wonderful and sweet smile!!!

Rainbow Hills Golf Club is a picturesque 27 holes mountain course layout designed by the internationally recognized J. Michael Poellot Golf Design Group (JMP). In early 2015, Robert Moore Jr., finished the third 9 holes named the Stone Hills course, thus providing golfers with 27 holes of stunning visual drama and challenging golf set amongst abundant natural beauty and fresh air.
Arrived in cool of the morning. Weather was great like aircon. One of the best courses we played in Indonesia. Fantastic views from tee boxes as layout go round mountain n valley. Pity caddies as wayward shots have to walk far as buggy on track. Otherwise it was an enjoyable game. We managed only two nines.
