Fantastic quality products, great service and great value. The ethos of the owner in supporting local women to work around home life and to promote the excellent quality textiles is wonderful. The handmade and made to measure textiles are superb quality and value. Highly recommended.

Unique stop for Ranthambhore visitors who are looking for interacting with local people who are doing craft work in the beautiful workshop facility. Dhonk is a social startup which aims at providing sustainable jobs to the ex-poachers families and village folks by giving them training in crafts and selling their produce at our fair trade store/ workshop situated at the fateh villa campus.
We visited the facility there where the local villagers have created wonderful crafts, and offer their wares for sale. We learned so much about the importance of this endeavor, and left with one of the best souvenirs from our trip. It's an incredibly beautiful embroidered piece of fabric that will hang in our home. We met the woman who did the handiwork and got a picture with her. We got some fun pajama bottoms with a hand blocked tiger print on it. Our visit was really was delightful.

This is fantastic place to visit to buy good quality , local made crafts and clothing . A short tour shows the local women producing stunning wall hangings of various sizes . The staff and very helpful and you are not under pressure to buy . They have infinite patience and took time showing me a selection of craft work . I purchased an origan painting of a tiger , tablecloth and napkins plus T-shirts for my young relatives . They also have a wide range of silk for made to measure clothing . The prices were reasonable and it was good to know that the profits went to the co-operative . I left with many souvenirs of my stay in India .

Dastkar a craft enterprise run by a NGO is captivating. We visited it to check out block printing for which Rajasthan is famed, and were treated to a feast of color and well-made artifacts.Women demonstrated the art of block printing and then took us around the shop.Shawls, kurtas, bedspreads, household linen, birds of all hues - all reasonably priced and in vibrant tints. If in Ranthambore, this is truly worth a visit.

A small community shop promoting the area and woman crafts. A wealth of different types of local handicrafts. We met the young man who draws and paints, selling his wares at a good price for such exceptional work. We purchased a charcoal drawing of a tiger, it was beautiful and so natural looking. Highly recommend a visit.
