We went to the heritage center of Pacific Grove. It is housed in a historic barn They put on several events for the community. They are also open some days of the month to tell us more about the heritage of Pacific Grove. There is also a nice small park to city at and enjoy the beautiful plants or read a book.

Sur at the Barnyard is a must try! We had the Tempura Seabass over Asian Salad and the Asian Rice Bowl with Orange Chicken. All were fantastic, stayed hot and fresh until we got home! We intended to return for outdoor dining as tables with heaters are well spaced out and the courtyard is filled with flowers and hummingbirds in December! Sadly they closed temporarily due to CA Covid mandate. Glad we got to try it out and will return on our next visit to Carmel.
