This nursery is a beautiful place nestled in the small town of Falcarragh. My husband and I visited this place at the recommendation of my cousin and we were not dosappointed. So many colors, exotic flowers and a beautiful meadow over looking Tory Island. The owner Diedre was so pleasant and the coworkers were very helpful. I highly recommend a walk in this beautiful garden

Dunmore Gardens is a magical walled garden, which lies just outside the pretty village of Carrigans on the western banks of Lough Foyle in Co. Donegal. The McFarland family have lived at Dunmore for generations and have opened their doors to many weddings, celebrations and garden parties. We are always open to new visitors looking for an occasion or simply to relax in the sanctuary of our garden.

Oakfield Park is one of Donegal’s best-loved attractions. Our award-winning gardens and parklands are the perfect place to spend a wonderful day out in Donegal. Whether you’re on a Wild Atlantic Way adventure or a first-time visitor to Donegal, there’s so much to see and explore. Our beautiful landscape of parkland, woodlands, lakes and formal gardens has everything you need to entertain the whole family. Spend hours exploring the grounds at your leisure: from walled gardens to ponds, lakes, a lakeside Nymphaeum, our hedge maze coming soon, heritage trees and sculptures. Children can make a wish at Oakfield Park’s Faerie tree, while navigating their way through adventures on extensive walks and trails. Our crowning glory is a 4.5km narrow gauge railway with a diesel and steam train operating passenger trips daily. This is a magical way to explore the park’s gardens as the train passes through flower meadows, beautiful woodlands, willow tunnels, oak circles and heritage trees.
What an experience!!! Having never been to Oakfield Park before, I was a little apprehensive considering we're in the throws of a pandemic! However my worries soon disappeared. Strict covid guidelines were in place right from entry point e.g. temp checks, face masks, social distancing, cleaning in progress throughout. It really was a magical experience, not just for my granddaughter but for all the family. From Mrs. Clause who was an absolute gem with her two little puppet buddies, the elves who were fabulous, friendly and full of energy, the train ride with all the beautiful lights and lots to see along the way, Santa's grotto was beautiful and kids got to play games with the elves, while maintaining social distancing. I could go on and on really. I look forward to going back next year again but will certainly visit these beautiful grounds throughout the year. Huge congrats to all involved for putting a wonderful experience together in a year where it would have been easier to keep the doors closed. Oakfield Park is a real treasure.
