Sugary-white sand, dolphins frolicking just off shore and eight major barrier islands make St. Pete Beach a postcard-perfect seaside destination. Situated on a peninsula off Florida's west coast, it balances its oceanfront charms with top-notch art museums, including the largest collection of Salvador Dali paintings outside of Spain. Kayak through the calm waters, take a ferry to nearby Caladesi Island State Park to experience the state's wild beauty or stroll the rapidly gentrifying downtown for one-of-a-kind cafes.

Treasure Hunt was a great fit for our family with kids ages 10 and 11 and a grandparent. Clever puzzles and a great host, Van. We had a lot of fun!

There's more to enjoy on St. Pete Beach than just the Gulf! TradeWinds Island Resorts is home to the biggest inflatable waterslide you've ever been on. Over three stories high and 200 feet long, the High Tide Slide is located right on the beach! Perfect for the kids and the kids at heart! Make sure to try it out the next time you visit. Must be at least 42" tall.
... especially that you don't have to pay for using it! ... The giant Aquaslide (opened in 2011) is located at the Tradewinds Island Grand hotel/resort on St. Pete Beach, and if you a guest of this hotel (my friends were), then you can use it for free. (Well, I think it's covered by the resort fee). You can see this white-blue 'mega toy' from a long distance, all the three stories of this slide stand out rather well. There are some age/weight and supervision requirements for using this attraction, but the hotel staff is very attentive , and they are always in control of the process. Kids definitely love it, my friends' teenage son did enjoy it and had fun, but I never really saw any adults sliding down on this huge inflatable slide. Not yet! ...

Went here for a fun night out while on our vacation. Very intimate setting. Drinks were great and so were the acts! Staff was super friendly and so was their mascot Buddy!
