Hartsville is the largest city in Darlington County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 7,768 at the 2016 census. Hartsville was chosen as an All-America City in 1996 and again in 2016. Hartsville has also been a National Arbor Day Foundation Tree City since 1986.

Project EXcape is Hartsville’s first Live Escape Game. Teams or groups of players enter a themed room. Participants have 60 minutes to search, find, decipher and connect the dots of clues to solve a series of puzzles which lead to the means of escape. They must work cooperatively to be successful using logic and reasoning to escape before time runs out!
