The GreenMarket put on by the City of Palm Beach Gardens has been a huge success for many years. It runs year round, either at the Town Center in the winter months or an Military Trail and PGA Boulevard in the hotter months (under cover). Highly recommended for everything from veggies to cooked foods.. to almost anything. The brilliant idea of former Mayor Eric Jablin it is now a regional success.

The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is a luxurious 1.4 million square foot regional shopping center, featuring over 150 fine specialty shops, anchored by Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, Macy's and Sears. The shopping center is conveniently located one mile east of I-95, on PGA Blvd.
Thankfully, this mall remains privately owned and its owners deserve vast praise for weathering a major downturn that has been hitting shopping malls nationwide. The Gardens Mall continues to epitomize the Palm Beach area with its brightly-colored decor, fountain and flower displays. It is unusually artistic, beautifully landscaped, comfortably air-conditioned and is ALWAYS spotless and full of surprise attractions. On one recent visit in the dead of summer, musicians played classical music on the downstairs level. This mall has lots of parking and is also heavily protected with security. You can find designer stores--many of which moved to this mall from Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. You'll also find Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Saks and Macy's. There's a recently enlarged Apple store, where employees graciously help you figure out how to operate any Apple device--even if you didn't buy it there! The skylight on the upper level is breathtaking during a sunny day, and this mall has comfortable sit-down restaurants, which include P.F. Chang's and Brio's. Last I went to Brio's, at least, it had the best lasagna I can remember. Just last week, I visited the mall's latest store--Altar'd State. Despite this store's dazzling high-end exterior, I was shocked to find unique, reasonably priced jewelry & sunglasses there as well as a gorgeous long lacy sun dress. Reasonable prices also can be found at H&M, Sears and at the new NYX Professional, which actually has employees who can help you find makeup! In the mall, General Nutrition Center marks the first store I've found that carries just plain calcium citrate, which I'm required to take. All other stores clutter this pill with additives, messing up my required dosage. Lilly Pulitzer's flowery clothes help crystalize this mall's Palm Beach-area identity, and the Lilly Pulitzer store displays beautiful pastel-colored items, which can make great souvenirs or gifts.
