The first time I came here was six or seven years ago, and just loved it, with each product seeming to taste even better than the last. Since that first visit I've purchased from them many times online (I live nearly 400 miles away) and have visited during every trip to Calaveras County. They send out occasional recipe and cooking ideas, which is very much appreciated. I have visited many other olive oil/balsamic tasting rooms, but Marisolio's products are by far the best.

"Where history and wine meet." Ironstone Vineyards is a premier destination winery located in Murphys, California. Amenities include our Tasting Room & Gold Leaf Deli, Heritage Museum (home to our 44-pound crystalline gold piece) & Jewelry Shoppe, Amphitheater, plush gardens featuring a lakeside park, and complimentary tours of our facilities. Our wines reflect the diversity of offerings from the Lodi and Sierra Foothills Appellations of Northern California. Through emphasizing the practice of Sustainable Viticulture, Ironstone Vineyards conserves water use, builds healthy soil, and maintains our surrounding wildlife habitat. Please Note: We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
Winter awesome time to go! WAY less crowded. Very cool small museum. We’re told in the museum to ask if Conrad could give us a tour when we went to the tasting room. He was not in the room and the head of security, Steve, said he’d give us one! And boy did he. He was wonderful! Such a family feeling of a huge grounds, 500 acres, caves, concert venue, heard great stories and antidotes. Highlight!

The most adorable little country park I've ever been to. I love the creek that runs thru it. I like to watch the children play in the water during the summer months. What a great, free way to enjoy the days. There's a library right there which is so nice because you can get a book and relax under a shady tree , drink some wine and forget about stress for awhile.

We were so happy to see the Spice Tin was open when we drove through Murphys, even though we are in the middle of a pandemic. We were so hoping we were able to pick up some Zatar, a spice that is hard to find in regular grocery stores. My husband loves to make his Mediterranean dishes and Zatar is a needed spice. They now sell from a Dutch Door to stay in compliance but they have so many wonderful spices and also many Christmas decorations and gifts as well. Before, they offered samples but now have to be much more careful. You will probably be able to find any spice you might be looking for here and the people are so helpful.
