Hidden gem! Interesting and beautiful. Staff does a great job organizing and conducting the cave tour. Our granddaughter was amazed seeing a real cave as well as the waterfall right down the road. It was a gorgeous fall day for exploring all the surroundings in Blanchard Springs and Mountain View.

Plan to visit on a Friday night when the local pickers meet for a jam session. You can go from one pavilion to the next and listen to different groups. There are benches around the pavilions, but take the precaution of bringing your own lawn chair.

This Dulcimer Shoppe has been in business for over 50 years. If you come to Mountain View you will have to stop at this shoppe. This shoppe also sells various crafts made around Mountain View. My wife bought a Dulcimer because she liked the way it sounded. After that she did take some lessons. This is an instrument that you can learn to play on your own.

I was looking for a great place to take pictures, so went down a path to get to a good spot to photograph the waterfalls. I was pleasantly surprised by the old mill! Great spot, even when the heat and humidity are so terrible.

Cute store with friendly and helpful staff. I went looking to replace a toothpick holder that I really liked. T.hey had one! We also bought several local jams and jellies. The damson plum jam we opened this morning is really good.
