La Cantina Opera Pia Mastai Ferretti nasce nel lontano 1887 a Senigallia per volere del Pontefice PioIX, fondatore della Fondazione Opera Pia Mastai Ferretti. La Cantina, facente parte di un azienda agraria di oltre 900 ettari, è situata all’interno del centro storico di Senigallia, in Via Cavallotti nr.36. Fin dalla sua fondazione, all’interno della cantina vengono vinificate le uve ottenute dai propri vigneti dislocati sui colli circostanti la città di Senigallia. Sono presenti sia uve a bacca bianca quali Malvasia, Trebbiano Toscano e Verdicchio, che uve a bacca rossa quali Montepulciano, Sangiovese e Lacrima. Tutti i vini sono disponibili sia imbottigliati che sfusi.
