Situated on a gentle bend of the Ohio River at the hub between Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky, Evansville is a sizable metropolis with small town friendliness. There is something for everyone to discover, whether it is a chance encounter with Lady Luck on the riverboat Casino Aztar, a brisk hike along the Riverfront promenade, a step into history at Angel Mounds State Historic Site, fun with the family at Kid's Kingdom or an escape to verdant Pigeon Creek Greenway Passage.

Hi Mike and Aprile here! We love our local business, Carson's Brewery... great place to sample a couple of craft and guest brew flights (Mike really likes the Brown Cow and Harlot, Aprile also likes the fruit beers), kick back with family and friends on the weekend while listening to the tunes of live music entertainment for the evening (7-10 pm). They have had some really good music events on the weekend to enjoy, either sitting out by the fire (our favorite place to kick back under the stars when there) or inside the taproom! Enjoyed the music entertainment by CurtNRod, Hudsy, Smith and Rome, and Dueling Guitars just to name a few. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The brewery is pet friendly... our little Mia the yorkipoo is a great fan of Carson's! We typically pick up a Stromboli and chips from our favorite little Twisted Tomato on the way to enjoy at Carson's and bring a few bar snacks with us (Chex mix, mixed nuts, pretzels) to munch on during the evening. Would highly recommend you give this little gem in Evansville a try! You too will become a regular at Carson's.

Myriad is located on a relative quiet side street downtown with ample streets ode parking. The brew a number of different beers, a flight of which I tasted. The people who stop there seemed to be mostly people working downtown and in the area. The brewery hasn’t been open that long, but the beer is good, served cold, and the people are friendly. The do not seem to have a kitchen and do not sell food; however, I did see a food truck parked outside on one occasion when I visited. There is both inside and outside seating, and on a nice day, sitting outside was peaceful and relaxing.
