We spent a very nice day touring the islands in front of Olhão (ria Formosa) and received all necessary information concerning places, beaches, inhabitants and habits, birds and fish in the area. Captain Carlos’ ability to explain and answer guests’ questions helped a lot to establish a very good feeling among guests. We recommend the enterprise and the captain to any local or foreign travellers.

The tour delivered exactly what it offered. Pick-up from our hotel was on time. The tour guide offered some information about the area and Loulé itself while driving to town. That being said, the market was a bit underwhelming. I had hoped to see more artisan stalls and handicrafts. Overall, I am glad to have taken a tour to see a bit of a different sight of the Algarve.

Seeing the coastline from the sea is an adventure in itself. The caves are strange but beautiful. The boat and crew are in good shape, and everybody tries is best to help you. I need some help getting in and out the small boat, and that was fine. You have to take the music on the boat as it is, I could have done without it. I could have stayed on the Ophelia all day!
