This was a great half day excursion. We had already done ruins before and wanted to explore cenotes. They picked us up and took us straight to cenotes. There was 4 different ones at complex each different from the others. We have small child back at resort and wanted to do something that wouldn’t take full day. This excursion exceeded our expectations and we felt it was good value! We will definitely not forget our I experience there!

My sister and I took a bird-watching tour with Eco Colors guide Jose Paz. It was a highlight of our trip to the Riviera Maya. Jose took us to two different areas and we saw more than 30 different species. He was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about all the birds. He recognized them by their songs and could spot them even in the dense trees and shrubs. In the second preserve, he had also arranged a lovely lunch for us, cooked by a delightful woman over a wood fire. Jose's driver joined us and he was also a very likable fellow. It was a great experience and I highly recommend!
Holbox is a corner in Quintana Roo, offering the best experience to enjoy this region of the Caribbean Sea, have a rest on these beautiful beaches and practice water activities, in addition to a gastronomy of Gods. This tour will take you to enjoy this small island. You can cool off in the crystal clear waters of the Yalahau cenote. Fall in love even more on the island of Passion, a beautiful corner of the Mexican Caribbean, full of myths and legends. You will walk through the white sands of Holbox Island and feel its tranquility in all its splendor. The Sunset of Holbox is a beautiful and magical natural spectacle to enjoy. Also if these colors did not fall in love enough, the main phenomenon that you expect to see will steal your breath, and you will enjoy it from a boat tour, you will tour the sea and enjoy the bioluminescence in Holbox. It was a very AWESOME experience! The staff was so kind and patient. They explained everything thoroughly and were very accommodating. The zip line is perfect for beginners, I myself, am scared of heights but I was able to complete the zip line course. I’d definitely recommend 10/10.
Holbox island is a small out-of-the-way Mexican island where you can go back to the days of no cars, beach roads and beautiful sunsets. In the northern tip of the state of Quintana Roo, belonging to the municipality of Lázaro Cárdenas and 10 kilometers off the northeast coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, lies the island of Holbox, separated by a low lagoon, home to exotic creatures such as flamingos and pelicans. This little piece of sky is the perfect place to relax as the population of its unspoiled beaches does not exceed two thousand inhabitants, dedicated to tourism and fishing. Its rustic-style hotels, cottages and murals will delight you... In addition, you will be fascinated by the natural phenomenon of bioluminescence that illuminates this island every night. Many living things emit light, but when thousands of plankton glow in the crystal clear waters of Holbox and illuminate the entire island in a hypnotic blue, it's just a beautiful spectacle.
Inclusions: Lunch box, Air-conditioned vehicle, Cenote Yalahau admission and lifejacket, Passion island admission, Dish to choose, Holbox island visit and free time on the island, Ride a bike for 1 hour in Holbox, 2 hour boat ride in Holbox and Boat ride to see biolumiscence
Exclusions: Dinner and extra drinks not included.
The information advertised on TripAdvisor was not the service we actually received. We only swam with the turtles and visited one Cenote. No Cavern, lunch, or 2nd Cenote. A 50% refund is supposed to be credited back to my account. I hope that happens.

This is the third time I’ve done this tour (separate occasions and different companies) and this company has been the most organized. It is a 12 hour trip, so be prepared. First we stopped at a little Mayan restaurant/shopping where they have a shaman bless you and then you have lunch (buffet included). After we went to Chichen itza for an hour and half with Francisco as our tour guide. Francisco and the rest of the tour guides were all really friendly. After we left we headed to the cenote for an hour and if you’ve never swam in one, just do it! It’s so refreshing and beautiful! After we left there we stopped in Valladolid and it was perfect timing because we had worked up an appetite! In my experiences before they’d stop there before chichen itza. The way they did it was great so we didn’t drive back starving. The tour is great, well worth the money... A few tips; just be prepared it’s all day, bring lots of cash, (not card), towels and bathing suit/swim trunks.
