Lower ladysden is a family run PYO farm along with a giant maze
This has to be one of the best Farm Shops and PYO around. Lots of lovely fruit and veg, both on sale and for picking. Plenty of car parking and great for kids too. Covid rules well organised.

Only 1 mile from Hever Castle’s main entrance you will find the friendly and welcoming Golf Club. Set in the mature grounds of the Hever Castle Estate, Hever Castle Golf Club is a 27 hole golf course in Kent that will encourage and inspire all golf enthusiasts. The courses have been built to the highest specification and are a great test of golf in Kent for experienced golfers and beginners alike. The Waterside Bar, Restaurant & Terrace offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which to enjoy drinks, breakfast, lunch, a monthly Sunday roast or even afternoon tea and is open to all.
The Hever Castle Golf Club experience is a blend of a terrific golf course in a wonderful part of Kent. The view from the 12 tee, a slight downhill par three, is similar in many ways to the view of the par three 12th hole at Augusta National. Go play Hever Castle GC today….and tomorrow, if you have time!

The Fun Wall has 15 different climbing challenges for you to take part in, which includes a speed wall! Our bouldering area includes a 30m competition wall, top out boulder, arch, cave and plenty of slab, while the smaller mezzanine bouldering area tops out to our traverse wall and cafe. The social climber is our large cafe space, where you can relax and enjoy some great food and drinks to fuel your climbing. Our cafe and free wifi is available to everyone- you don't have to be climbing to pop in for coffee and cake!

The Pound Bar & Kitchen has been voted by the public as Kent's Best Bar in the Muddy Stilettos Awards! Serving a spectacular range of handmade cocktails using premium ingredients and celebrating the best local products from Kent "The Garden of England". The Pound is home to a very British menu and has an exciting list of local beers, ciders, English wine and houses one of the city's largest gin selections. The bar is set within Canterbury's atmospheric former c1830 city gaol, gaoler's house and c1907 police station, providing many unique settings to enjoy cocktails and our fine selection of drinks, including in the 3 beautifully restored former police cells and on our picturesque riverside terrace. Explore England's largest surviving Medieval gateway in the adjoining Westgate Towers Museum & Viewpoint (free when you dine with us) and our award winning Escape Room attraction set in the original cells from c1830 (10% discount when you dine with us)!
Lovely atmosphere and some great music. Staff were friendly and helpful and the whole building has some fantastic precautions in place regarding Covid . We waited to be seated whilst they thoroughly cleaned down our table. Staff were very busy but still extremely courteous and took the time to give us some recommendations. Ordering is done through the app with a small optional service charge (during these times we happily applied the charge to support a local business). Some great beers on draft and amazing cocktails. We orders some small plates as we were slightly peckish which were wonderful. Overall, a cracking bar!
