Landry Vineyards was established in 1999 by Jeff, Libby and their four sons; Ethan, Kohen, Noah and Micah along with the loving labor of family and friends. The first grape vines planted were two acres of a white European American hybrid grape, Blanc Du Bois, with plans for 2003 expansion including a red grape, Cynthia/Norton. Landry Vineyards was licensed as a Louisiana Native Winery in 2003. The first vineyards were established in Folsom, La. where the winery was also located. Soon after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the Landry's used the storm opportunity to relocate to higher ground. They now reside in the beautiful hill country of West Monroe, La on a 20-acre site including a new winery, vineyards and beautiful tasting room. The Landry family strives to produce quality Louisiana wines that are distinctive to the region while complimenting the rich flavorful Cajun Foods of our French Acadian Heritage. Landry Vineyards wines may be purchased in 450 stores throughout Louisiana, from our website or by visiting Landry Vineyards in West Monroe, Louisiana.
I wasn't sure what to expect when sampling Louisiana wine. The vintages were delightful! The vineyard is a lovely setting to spend an afternoon. The staff is welcoming and helpful in choosing what to sample or purchase. It's a curvy drive to get there but well worth your time. Yes, Louisiana wine is for real. Enjoy it!

What a great idea to take an old mining area and return it to nature! Restoration Park comprises a gentle trail that winds through a wooded area where you can witness wildflowers, a variety of trees (many that are labeled), water/ lakes, armadillos, lily pads, egrets... just to name a few of the things we saw on our walk. It’s open dawn to dusk.

This warehouse, gift shop & museum is owned by the Robertson family of "Duck Dynasty" fame. Duck Commander was built on passion, pride and faith. It's uncommon to have an occupation that allows you to do what you truly love. The Duckmen do just that. We've come a long way since Phil jumped in his truck in the 70's and sold his duck calls "one at a time." Now Duck Commander is a brand that speaks to more than just the waterfowler. It represents a way of life; one of faith, family and the opportunity to live off the land. We have a line of duck calls that go back to 1972 when Phil patented the first double reed system. We have both low-end and high-end calls as well as calls for several different species of ducks.
I have traveled over 26+ years several Countries and 1/2 the U.S. (and most every town in those States). I finally had the chance to visit this area to see the famous Duck Commander warehouse ! Currently 1/2 the building is being used as a museum about the Phil Robertson family and rise of the Duck Commander into the Duck Dynasty TV series, and the other 1/2 is being used for Sadie's clothing line. The TV show is no longer, and they have sold both the RV and semi truck, but you can take the Tour inside and find some gear at the gift shop. The tour is very informative and shares the open & honest story of how the Robertson family has overcome and achieved so much. I would highly recommend visiting for anyone and everyone. A good - clean - family oriented activity that everyone can enjoy learning about. God Bless
