Towcester is a great little town to explore with lots of cute cafes and little shops down historical alleyways and set inside old buildings. The Towcester museum is just off the main high street and there is a nearby car park which is free and usually always has spaces so its really easy to get to! The museum itself is very reasonable in price at £3.50pp and we definitely spent an hour in there reading and looking around the gift shop. The shops has lots of cute things for kids and adults, lots of decent books too from local historians which is always nice to see. Of youre local to Towcester and have ever wondered about the history of your area then this is a great little place to have a look around. The Towcester trail maps from the museum are also handy as we used it to explore the town afterwards!

Recently refurbished this lovely village pub is the hub of the community. Serving great beers and home cooked food it also hosts a small community shop. Serves lunches and dinners as well as takeaways every day. A warm welcome is always on offer so come and say hello
Great music friendly pub under wonderful new management navigating through the Covid 19 Lockdown nightmare! Beer and atmosphere great when it was fully open. Great takeaway food is still available. Can thoroughly recommend the Friday Fish n chips and the gluten free pies are to die for!

We are a small independent brewery and tap room with a large garden based in the old Towcester Mill which is set in the heart of Towcester in south Northamptonshire.
John was knowledgable and interesting to listen to. An interactive experience with opportunities to feel, taste and smell the ingredients used in the brewing process followed by 3 different beers to taste and sample with appropriate accompanying food. Only very small downside is that the carpark outside is pay and display for a maximum of two hours.

Silverstone Interactive Museum is an immersive museum telling the story of the past, present and future of British motor racing. Packed with over 60 interactive elements, visitors will enjoy sitting in a replica grand prix car, learning to pilot a WW2 plane and experiencing the Ultimate Lap of Silverstone in our 360-degree cinema experience as part of their 2.5hour visit.
I would recommend this experience to anyone that has the opportunity to visit. I phoned prior to booking due to a couple of issues and all the staff I spoke to before and during my trip made me feel welcome throughout, they were all extremely friendly and helpful. As for the actual experience it's really well laid out with loads to see and do for all ages, you get to learn about the history of Silverstone and see so many different aspects of racing, the displays and information are clear and informative and there's almost too much to see in one go. There's also the added bonus of the heritage trail to walk on an old part of the circuit and if you're really lucky you might get to see some on track racing. Highly recommended ????

After visiting Henlow a few months back this was sheer luxury. An ok burger and chips, good value for money. Great staff, in fact everyone that was there was polite and friendly . It poured down all night so we only watched a couple of races outside. Some complimentary umbrella would of been great as no shelter. We really enjoyed it, didn't win anything!

One hour in the pool when the flames/wave is operating for the grandchildren. Really nice pool with a shallower pool for younger children and the main pool for more confident swimmers. Our grandsons love coming here. It always seems very clean and well organised.
