HARS is a museum of Australian Aviation History. Where possible aircraft are recovered and restored to flying condition and maintained there. HARS is a CovidSafe business.
For years we had heard of the HARS Aircraft Museum but never got there. Whilst holidaying at Gerringong we decided to make a visit and glad we did. An amazing display of old planes restored by the dedicated volunteers. Being currently unable to fly overseas because of the Pandemic, it was great to board the 747, sit in the Business Class seats and imagine we were about to fly out to Europe. The two tours were most entertaining and we learned a lot about the old planes. It is a credit to the dedicated volunteers who have restored these aircraft to their former glory. Pity the museum is not promoted more for all to enjoy.

So much history to be learnt here!! Beautiful water, stunning rock pools, easy access to all beaches and lookout points, best to wear proper shoes because of rocks, it's absolutely stunning and so peaceful!

Very pretty spot and very well laid out! Shirt drive to the beaches! I was helped into the ground by a lovely ranger and had a pleasant and peaceful evening there! Really is a little gem, not too far from Sydney!!
