We went with Kastellorizo cruises Barbara Boat and we had Captain George at the helm who showed us all the sights before and after we visited the blue grotto, which has to be the best in the Mediterranean and we were lucky enough to see a seal in the grotto.

Beautiful boat trip to St George and the blue cave. Captain Antonis always on time, friendly, making jokes, helping in making friends with the other people on the boat and taking nice pictures and video for us.

I went everyday for the entire week I was on the island, the taverna offers nice, healthy and simple food (fantastic calamari and octopus salad and also the club sandwich was exceptional). Prices are really honest (4 euro sunbeams, 7 euro club sandwich) and they have American service! Wow! The water is so clean, you see many starfish and all kinds of fish in different shapes and sizes!! Wish I was still there !! I just got home and am missing paradise !!

If you get the chance to see the old museum go... they have a short video on the old town and if you can spare the time it’s very worth watching...it shows the island before the war and talks about all this little land has been through..very inspiring and heartfelt to watch.
