Joy of life Wadi Rum Camp is located in the desert of Wadi Rum. Just 10 kilometers from the Wadi Rum Village,80 Kilometers from Aqaba, a popular area of the desert of Jordan. Find your oasis in one of the 20 rooms at our upscale accommodation, also has a common area and office 24 hours. The camp also offers breakfast, lunch and Dinner. You can choose different type of tours.
We had a great time at Joy of Life - they run a wonderful camp experience. We arrived to the Wadi Rum Village mid-morning, connected with Eid and took a half day excursion hitting highlights of the desert with lunch provided. We stayed for dinner and slept overnight in one of the cabins, which was minimal but comfortable and safe. Bathrooms are shared, well maintained and easily accessible, and dinner and breakfast were tasty with all the tea you’d like to drink. Highly recommend this camp and best to coordinate through WhatsApp with Eid, who is warm and friendly, as is his extended family. FYI cellular service stops at the Wadi Rum Village and there is no WiFi provided at the camp, so unplug and enjoy!

Stayed here for one night as part of an Explore trip. Excellent accommodation, good food, superb views across the desert, friendly staff. Even had excellent wi-fi reception in the tent! I definitely recommend Space Village Luxury Camp

Hello everyone, I read all of the great reviews for this place and thought I was in for a great time. We got there (My two friends and I as well as a German guy we had just met) and we met three Palestinians that were on a vacation as well. we all hung out and made fast friends, had a lovely time the first night had a camp fire, read poetry etc. went out on a tour the next day which was fine. We got home the second day and had dinner and us four foreigners were exhausted so we went to bed. Two min later one of out Palestinian friends is calling us out of our tents. Apparently the owner (Omar) had told them not to talk to any on the white people (which is messed up to begin with and apparently fine when he was talking with us) but a Lithuanian girl had asked him where he was from, he said Palestine, she said she was from Lithuania and Omar freaked out, stopped the music and told everyone that they were all drug dealers (categorically not true) and not to talk to them. He also called a friend he knows at the police to come and arrest them. Apparently there are a lot of Palestinian people in Jordanian Jail for made up stuff like this (and apparently they can be thrown in there for like 40 years with no evidence). None of us could sleep hat night and we left the next day with the Palestinians. The Palestinian girl went up to Omar and begged for the cops to be called off and he said he would but "just because she was a girl". They had to stay up all night to make sure that no one came to their tent and planted drugs... This was seriously not cool you guys. Additionally every time you asked any of the workers there a question it was always "oh... I'll have to ask Omar" this guy is a tyrant. I really really don't want anyone else to give this tyrant any or their hard earned money. Please do not support him, I was appalled that he would toy around with peoples lives like that just because they were Palestinian or whatever reason he made up in his twisted mind.
