Small motel in the heart of Creede. Full service in summer including home made breakfast (excellent), ATV rental, loner equipment (fishing poles, etc), advise about how to enjoy the area. Hiker bunkhouse for affordable rest and relaxation for those hiking the Colorado trail. Drop supply point, spotting available to the trailhead/divide top.
We rented 2 sxs and enjoyed our day through the old mines up in the mountains. The trip up to 12,500 feet was incredible and our whole family has memories we'll never forget. Thank you for your guidance and hospitality Shane!

Boutique Cabins set in the heart of Creede, Colorado. Nationally recognized architecture, a rich and uniquely Western history, and the intricate, impeccable beauty of the cabins at Windsock Acres combine to make your stay truly unforgettable. Our convenient location provides immediate access to Creede's historic Main Street. The cabins - the Magnolia, the Cajun, and the Boathouse - are set on a broad, sunny half-acre near downtown Creede. Cat and Avery Augur live on the property along with their three sons Harrison, Theodore and James and their dog, Lula. The shared yard is accessible to all guests, and the dog (and children) are friendly. The property manager, Linnaea, is available each day to provide any assistance you may need. Cabins are cleaned daily. Each cabin is double-occupancy only; we regret that our cabins cannot accommodate animals or small children. We encourage you to explore Creede, as our cabins do not have television. Windsock Acres is smoke-free.
We stayed in the Boat House in the 3rd week in September. The cabin will WOW you from the outside details to the inside. Excellent wood carvings throughout, an architectural wonder. It is a 2-story cabin but your room is on the 2nd floor -- the ground floor appears to be a storage shed for the owners that is partitioned off the entry that directs you up the spiral stair to your room. We're glad we stayed there while we visited beautiful Creede for the first time. It's about a block off main street Creede, so we could easily walk to everything in town, as well as the mining museum up the hill. We had good dinner meals at Arp's, and Tommyknocker Tavern, as well as Antler's, which is a short drive outside of town. I only give the Boat House 4 out of 5 stars because the level of comfort was disappointing: 1. The mornings were in the 40s and the heating system was awkward to turn on and didn't put out much heat. 2. There was a coffee nook but no power to heat the water pot, so we used the electrical outlet across the room. It wasn't till we were two days into our 3-night stay that we found an extension cord under the bed that could have been used for the water pot (the nook is right next to the bed). 3. The claw-foot tub is a beauty but not very safe. It is steep-walled, long and narrow, and difficult to get in and out, especially because there weren't any non-slip decals in the bottom of the tub or a rubber mat for foot traction. 4. The entry door was difficult to open. It would stick. The owner had to show us a technique to open the door. 5. Breakfast doesn't come with the cost of the cabin, and we knew that, but we didn't know that breakfast options in town would be so hard to come by. The only place in town that served breakfast was called MJs and it was disappointing. There was a food truck that made very good breakfast burritos but we could only eat there once because the outside seating was too chilly to enjoy most mornings. It took me almost 3 months to decide to write this review, knowing all other reviews are more positive. But after staying here for 3 nights, it seems the cabin would benefit greatly by utilizing the storage area on the ground floor for a shower and a small kitchenette. And rather than just having a radiator heater in the storage shed and expecting the heat to rise to the 2nd floor, why not install a better heating system? Just a suggestion.

Why stay in a room when you can have the whole cabin! Cabins sleep up to six. Same price regardless of number of guests in the cabin. New, comfortable, large cabins in the south end of town. Nicely furnished with kitchens, BBQ, TV, DVD and free wireless. Right next door to the best restaurant in town! Now with Satellite TV!
We have stayed here twice on our annual dual sport dirt bike ride. Staff is very friendly and always willing to work with us to make sure our stay is great. This year the oven and fridge were a great thing to have with all the over reacting going on with Covid so we could get breakfast going easier in the morning. We plan to stay here any time we are in Creede over night.

This private house offers the perfect non-smoking vacation option for your entire family. There are 2 bedrooms along with an extra bed in the living room area so that up to 6 can comfortably be accommodated. Unique to the area, there is a fully furnished kitchen, a washer & dryer, towels and bed linens included. Cable TV and Wireless internet are included. The property is located near the outskirts of the historic and picturesque Creede, Colorado, easily within walking distance of the main town center.
We booked The House online and the manager of the house was very good in keeping me informed. The booking was seamless and she sent me a 2-page sheet of information about using the house and the area. The house was private and quiet, but within walking distance of the whole town of Creede. There was a kitchen and a large living room with a TV and very comfortable couches. The extra bed next to the living room, plus the two bedrooms means that you could sleep 6. perfect for a family. We just felt so much more comfortable here than in a hotel, and Creede is limited on housing options anyway. We had a little problem with having hot water throughout our showers but the caretaker said he would take care of that. We saw deer and rabbits and other wildlife everyday since the property is next to the woods.

Located in historic Creede, this 4-room inn has a storied guest list of Old West figures dating back to 1892 - some of which are rumored to still be wandering around as though they never left! With the many shops, restaurants and the famous repertory theater just steps out the front door, there is an adventure to be had for every type of person. Our fine dining restaurant, Arp's, offers indoor seating surrounded by paintings from local artists as well as a large patio with performances and music most days.
Haven’t been here since Ms. Dee took over. We live in Dallas but have a home in South Fork. Definitely worth the 30-minute drive. Such a beautiful historic hotel. (If these walls could talk.) And the food was exceptional! Highly recommend the lobster Mac & Cheese. We’ll be back!

Newly renovated Bed and Breakfast hosting three rooms with queen beds, private baths and flat screen TVs. Beautifully decorated commons area and an outdoor deck in a garden like setting for guest use. Located on Main Street in the center of town.
Great one night day at this cozy B&B in central Creede. Barb, the owner, is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is bountiful and delicious, and the room is small but comfortable. Loved this little mountain town, and would stay again if passing through.
